Not for sure about Ryle, I thought they had a lot returning. As for CovCath ,losing Maile hurts, and I saw them play Campbell and other teams last year. Campbell had them down 9 with under 2 minutes to go and had a meltdown. CovCath is going to have to find some scoring. I think it will be interesting how the top 5 shakes out, they all seem to play each other so we will know the truth then.

CovCath ranked a little high, and Ryle a little low in my opinion.

The kid can definitely play and wouldn't be surprised if he did play at the freshman level. It would definitely benefit him to play against tougher competition and challenge the skills that he possesses. Campbell seems to be a guard factory in the making the next four years. Seems like great things to come for the Camels, unless he decides to suit up in the green and white.

Franzen and Jolly aren't stiffs either. They will need to get a point guard in place. As for Scott, they have a big team with some scrappy players such as Hiller and Murray. Scott is a very gutsy team that plays all out at all times.

Comparing Nearl to Hiller is very amazing to me. These two players aren't even in the same class in talent. I don't have a dog in the fight, but all I can say is wow. There are some well respected coaches that have been speaking very highly of Nearl. Overall, the two teams match up pretty well. I was there last year when Nearl scored 20 points in a half after sitting out with fouls in the first half. That game wasn't close, but Scott made great improvement to win the district.

No doubt those players can play. It's not always about how many points you score, etc. As you can see from other posts some of the players that weren't in the top ten are continuously talked about not being on there. It just seems if some of these players that are mentioned are better than the omitted, they're team would be more of a threat in the region. Good luck to all the players, and as was stated before it is all talk anyway. I am a fan of the small school, my son attended one of the smallest.

Downing can play, its just that he wasn't the main option when you have Darius, Russ, and Trevor.

Kyle is a nice player and will get better, but is not a top five guard in the region. There are players that made the all region team last year as underclassman and now aren't in the top ten. This is obviously not a coaches vote, in fact I have already heard some coaches laughing at these rankings. I have seen all the players in the tenth on multiple times and am very surprised to see some names omitted on here.
