Rowan County 56 Fleming County 26

It was 2004 and I guarantee you that the starting qb was not in the game with less than 5 mins in the game. -

First score Earlywine ran it in from about 20 yds. Second score Conley scored from inside the 5. Third score was Earlywine again from less than 10. Fourth Clark from 30 yds. Moved the ball decent but after getting down 21-0 its hard -

I agree! As long as they remain focused as well as healthy! I know you guys had a few out in the game like we did. I would love to watch a game full of healthy Panthers! -
Fleming County vs. Rowan County
Yellowshirt11 replied to All In's topic in KY Football (High School)
I'll take the Panthers. After giving the game to Rowan last year in Morehead, I look for FC to be hungry and all business. -
East Carter 16 Fairview 13

What's changed for East? I watched them get beat by Nicholas at the Grid. Did they have some guys hurt or just some kinks to iron out? -
Bourbon County/Mason County Predictions
Yellowshirt11 replied to mcpapa's topic in KY Football (High School)
Mason should win this one easily, although Bourbon will play hard. Their linebackers like to hit, but there won't be enough speed to keep up with Mason. -

Morgan County Names Brian Turner New Head Football Coach
Yellowshirt11 replied to Nets's topic in KY Football (High School)
Nice hire, Coach Turner is well respected in the middle school ranks. -
Brian Kelly new head Coach Fleming County
Yellowshirt11 replied to mhighfield's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Fleming has no room to judge on the grounds of wins and losses at this point in time; maybe nine years ago, but not now. A good hire will be someone who will put his whole heart into the program which will get kids excited about basketball again. Nothing against Coach Fraser, I think that he cared about the program but did not make himself open as a person while at FC. Coach Messer was the type of coach that everybody wanted but I think we all know that his coaching style wasn't what the people at the top wanted. But good luck to Coach Kelly and the Panthers! -
Let's hope you're right, because from what I saw last year it was depressing watching them get pushed around.
-
If they're going to run it more let's just hope those lineman play better than they did last year, because from the few games that I saw they were getting whipped on the LOS.

I highly doubt that Coach P will go away from the spread

I highly doubt that Coach P will part with the spread offense

Well said papa...there definately needs to be a progression throughout the season in which he builds up to throwing in the 100s. No matter who the kid is, when the count gets near 100 and over, the coach should be taking notice.

First District Championship since 2003, way to go Panthers. If these kids play to their potential, they can make a run in the Region. Congrats Coach Price!
-
I know they play Mason, Russell, Lewis and West Carter, since they are all in their district this year. Other than that I think Bath, Nicholas, Woodford, Raceland, Rowan and maybe East, not sure about East or not but the first nine should be accurate.

What about in Eastern KY?

Is Jim Hicks going to Fleming?
Yellowshirt11 replied to Shaft's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
I don't see Coach Hicks at Fleming County any time soon. There have been a couple of games in the past where he has shown his true colors in front of the Panther fans, and I think that the FC admin. is looking for a more disciplined coach. -
Fleming needs kids to stay healthy. A few games they had over 11 starters out because of injuries. Three of those injuries were ACL tears. I know Fleming did not have a great season but injuries, which every team has to deal with, did not help the Panthers.

Mason Co./Greenup Co. Predicitions
Yellowshirt11 replied to ZEKE's topic in KY Football (High School)
What type of running game does GC have? Coach B at Mason does a great job preparing his team. The only offense Fleming had last week was in the first two drives when Mason wasn't quite sure what to do. Best of luck to both teams but I think Mason has a nice balance to its offense, as well as a solid o-line...Mason could run away with this one. -
Fleming County @ Lewis County predictions
Yellowshirt11 replied to Butterfly Baby's topic in KY Football (High School)
Look for some things to come together for the Panthers this week; they need a boost of confidence bad. -
If Fleming can go the remainder of the season without key injuries they will beat Lewis. They gave Estill all they wanted, with a key fumble-returned for a touchdown or its a different game.
