Anderson Co. draws first blood! 7-0

They have a good balance. Very good speed with Ryan Martin & Chris Toomey in the running attack. Bryndon Labhart runs hard at fullback also. The QB Zach Carmichael can pull the ball down and run too. He is very accurate in his passing also. It will be a good game. Hoping the Bearcats can get back on track this week with a big win.

I was there as well. I agree, AC must step up their defense inside.

I think this will be a good game. It could go either way. South Oldham put 52 on Anderson Co. At the same time Anderson Co. put 43 on them. I think Coach Peach and Coach Hammons make their defensive adjustments. Seems Boyle's offense is not as potent as in past years. I understand their defense is clicking on all cylinders. Anderson Co. offense is clicking on all cylinders too. I gonna have to take Anderson Co. in a close one. 28-21

It was a hard fought game. Both teams need work on the OL. Both teams need to clean up the unnecessary penalties. Boyle getting an unsportsmanlike after they scored put them out of conversion territory. As far as size comparison, both teams were pretty equal in size. Boyle had one receiver that was huge. No. 86 I think. It was one of those defensive battles.

Watched the Anderson Co. scrimmage Friday night. They beat Louisville Western 21-0 in 2 quarters and beat Adair Co. 28-0 in 2 quarters. Anderson Co. looked much better than they did against Danville. Good speed and quickness in the backfield. Haven't seen Clark Co. Just giving a brief view of Anderson Co.

Different year you are thinking about. 1976 team, Nick was a sophomore. 1976 was the year that they were undefeated and lost to Heath in the semi-finals by 2 on the old "inadvertent" whistle that allowed Heath to score the win. Gosh it was cold that night. Best I can remember it was like 5 degrees that night.

The average goes as follows: Winners: 38.6 Losers: 6.8 So that average margin of victory is 31.8. If you take out the Boyle/Allen game it is as follows: Winners: 42.2 Losers: 5.4 So that average margin of victory is36.8.

The person running the weight room is Todd Davis. He will be around in the fall, he is the trainer. Yates is not going to do anything until about Feb. He does not see the urgency of the situation. Top programs, with administrations that care, find a way to get things done. I sometimes wonder if Yates is purposely working against the program? He has shown nothing to indicate otherwise so far.

I think Paul Rains should be highly considered for the job. A winner in every aspect. His record speaks for itself.
