Final from Boyle County.

Thanks for the updates, BlacknGold!!!!

Gave up 10 Sacks. That was a joke of a game for the offensive line

You do realize that when you are starting that many freshmen, it takes longer to get your offensive line playing well together as compared to the defense. It looked as if the Anderson JV's probably had more of an experienced defensive group out there. I would say they had a large number of sophs starting both ways from they size of their players. Boyles defense really hung tough and if they had punted the ball when they went for it on 4th down on their own 40 with 2 minutes to go probably would have won the game. Instead Anderson took over with a short field and scored with 44 seconds left in the game. I t was a hard fought game that could have gone either way.

Yeah. I do realize this since I have done my job for quite a long time. However, that is not an excuse for playing lousy. Coach Smith has plans for each individual player and that includes freshmen. You have succeed at bottom to get to the top. Something that all players need to do regardless of age.

It was a hard fought game. Both teams need work on the OL. Both teams need to clean up the unnecessary penalties. Boyle getting an unsportsmanlike after they scored put them out of conversion territory.

As far as size comparison, both teams were pretty equal in size. Boyle had one receiver that was huge. No. 86 I think.

It was one of those defensive battles.

#86 is Will Bramel. Freshman. Should have a good career on the hardwood at Boyle County also.
