Hills defense played well most of the game. The first TD for East Jessamine was on a busted coverage and the second TD was after a blocked punt. The front seven of Hills controlled the line of scrimmage and their LBs were very active. Hills is much improved on both sides of the ball.

Bell had a HUGE game for Western Hills - 2 INT, 2 TD, and numerous big runs. A great comeback win with adversity - QB out, kicker hurt, blocked punt, etc. This is the type of game that Hills lost in the past.

West Jessamine did run hard and well at times, but still only accounted for around 120 yards on over 35 carries. Hills has not allowed a rushing TD thus far this season (both West Jessamine TDs were on play action passes), and given up only around 180 rushing yards on the season (in 3 games). Hills front seven is a team strength, with the LBs being very physical and active. If Spencer Co. can run the ball effectively, it will be a long night for Hills.

Western Hills defense has been tough against the run thus far this season, while Spencer County has good rushing numbers. Strength vs. strength. Western Hills 21-10.

West Jessamine played a very tough and physical game. Western Hills showed a great deal of heart to not quit and score the last 17 points of the game.

Western Hills does only have 4 seniors - all start and are major contributors.

If Hills stays focused after the big win against FC and continues tough/physical defense, should be able to handle West Jessamine - 35-7.

Was a HUGE win for WHHS! If not for turnovers (4 fumbles and an INT by WHHS) and a missed fieldgoal (after 1st and goal from the 5) WHHS could have scored 40. Hills defense played very well showing good speed and tackling. If WHHS continues to improve, could be a breakout year.
