Agree with you. The pitching is getting there. Now if we can get the outfield to field all the balls and not give up runs we could be very solid the future for the birds looks great. Some type of new field along with young plays who can play should be fun. Just ashame that my daughter is done this yr. right now we are to young to compete regional title but could make a good run if they play like a team.

Just saying they won like they should have. Didn't get to post score last night so did it this morning. So it was yesterday's score.

Hard to tell still. But one great surprise was the young Bardo back on the football field from the golf course. Good for him and his family.

Shame on the coaches then for allowing tat to happen! You can't put all your eggs in one basket all the time. Maybe campbump was ought about the coaching at Bracken being better then at NCC.

Like I said earlier st h hit the ball hard tonight all over the place. No excuse from HHS land tonight we may have dropped some routine fly balls but they have to learn how to catch those. Our young left fielder missed one the lead to st h scoring 3 runs but in the 7th with Hollingsworth on 3rd and 2 outs she had a huge single to tie the game. That was awesome to see girls making mistakes in field and not letting it get in there heads when they come to the plate. Should be a fun season for both teams. Yes Kirkwood was very happy and excited as well she should have been.

Maybe if you guys were better coaches up there on the hill like they are down there in Bracken you would not have that problem

the birds are young. catcher 3rd and short are all 8th graders left center right and 2nd were all soph freshmen pitcher and 1 sr on 1st who has never played there until Monday. was a fun game to watch.

It was a great game played by two good teams. St Henry went up 2-0 in the first then the birds tied it up over the next 3 innings. With two outs St Henry had a nice hitting clinic added by some bad fielding from the birds. St Henry took advantage of the two back to back eras by a 3 run home run then ending the inning with 4 runs up 6-6 in the 6th. The birds fought back with 3 in the 6th and 1 more in the 7th to tie up the game. great play in the 8th to get out of a jam for the lady birds. Then the birds left a runner on 3rd in the 8th. 9th inning St Henry had a nice run of fly balls and line drives to score 2. The Kirkwood girl for St Henry made a hug catch when Hollingsowrth had a hard liner over second base that she made a heck of a catch on to end the game. Was a lot of fun to watch this. Both team fought hard and did not give up at all. every one should be proud of there kids win or loss in this one.

They do not seed at all. Blind draw that's whats wrong with the distric. Baseball basketball and softball none of them. So some years you get the big two knocking off each other in the first round and a team like Bellevue or Dayton make the regionals

Thats not right either. What ever happened to the days when kids played everything they could. Look you weren't a good football player but you stlll tried. I wasn't a good track guy but still tried. We needed the numbers or bodies. Look Dale has 90 var/jv guys and 60 fresh. He doesn't need bodies. Baseball n basketball needs the bodies
