Got it. Surprised Dayton actually scored 5 runs against you. No disrepect toward Dayton, just Highlands always seems to play solid defense. As long as they have a pitcher that can throw strikes they are always good because of their defense. If they ever had a really strong pitcher watch out.

Agree with you. The pitching is getting there. Now if we can get the outfield to field all the balls and not give up runs we could be very solid

the future for the birds looks great. Some type of new field along with young plays who can play should be fun. Just ashame that my daughter is done this yr. right now we are to young to compete regional title but could make a good run if they play like a team.
