He doesn't need much time to throw fades over the top and/or bubble screens. -
How did Raceland have a shot in '08? LCA and Hazard were both much better than Raceland.

But they didn't stop the passing attack and that's where I believe NCC is weakest. -
Emperor, I'm still waiting. Are you out "Burn..ing" one?

I think NCC would have an extremely difficult time stopping Mayfield. Granted, I think NCC would move the ball on MF. I just don't think they would score enough. Team speed for MF would give NCC problems. MF would win by minimum 14. JMHO seeing both play. -

From where I was sitting in the stands, there was plenty of room.

Kinda curious as to what drills your refering to? As to TD, he did play some defense from what I saw. I guess they didn't play him more since they probably didn't like what they saw or had others that they felt were better. Not sure. I would agree he has a nice body and you would think he could've used it to help out.
-
I would agree Scribe. (To your previous post about working together as a crew for the entire year.)
-
And I would assume you know all 5? Wait, I thought everyone is entitled to their opinions per another post of yours. I never said I didn't care for the official, but that he is not very good. This based on coaches from several teams and also from officials that do games in NKY. And, by what criteria do you claim all 5 are very good officials? Did you grade them? Did you watch all the games they refereed? I don't think so. Since you seem to know these officials, what are their names? You'll probably say it's against the rules to name people on BGP, but by naming you're not saying anything derogatory. Plus, I would venture to say you don't have a clue who they are. I think you seen my comment and had to say something derogatory. Again, thanks Govnah Blago!

Well I believe they sent one!

You have to remember, there were at least 6 to 8 drops.

Or we could say you sound less like us:D

I would venture to say that qs is closer to the situation then yourself, so I would lean towards believing him. How close are you Govnah Blago?
-
Hmmm....I was told he didn't play for other reasons. Well, I'm glad he made the right decision. By the way, what coaches have you been around at all levels? Did you coach yourself?
-
What is Beechwood Football all about in your mind? You must have had a kid on the team who didn't get to play as much as you liked. So now the attacks on the other kids who made mistakes during the game. Did you talk to the Coach about your issues? Have you watched practice? If not, then you don't have all the facts to make a decision on who should play and who shouldn't.

I would have to agree that BB is missed. He was a great line coach and defensive coach; however, I'm not sure MY is missed. I'm not sure the present OL coach, Brills?, knows as much as BB. BB when he took over as interim head coach, ran the team. Prior to taking over, he ran weights in the offseason every year. MY never showed. Even when MY came back, BB and Rash ran the practices. MY was there in body only.

1A State Final: Mayfield/Hazard predictions

Mayfield wins hands down. Mayfield 42-14. -
Mex, I would rather refrain from naming the official in question. I believe it is against BGP rules. I still believe the selection process for officials in playoffs and Championship is not done properly. There should be something in place that takes into account the performance of the official. Those with the highest marks should be doing the playoffs, regardless if they do them for several years in a row. Your performance should be rewarded.
-
Also, I was informed by an old time ref that the refs from up in NKY going to the state game are not selected on performance. Rather they alternate each year. Guess soccer mentality has seeped into the officiating ranks as well. I know of one from up in NKY that shouldn't even be officiating let alone doing a championship game.
