  1. Does anybody know what day the Enquirer will have the high school previews?Over here in Bugtussel In. we don't get much Ky. news. (Thanks in advance)
  2. Why weren't they selling bird apparel? With that crowd the boosters could have made a small fortune.
  3. I'm just glad to see #19 back on the field for HHS going for state title # 19,is that ironic or what??
  4. Its very easy to figure out who is D1 material,it's the ones that get the offers. There is no sence in arguing the point, very soon when the offers start rolling in,we will know who is D1 and who is not.(By the way, I know this thread is about QB's)
  5. I hope that all believers and non-believers attend the HHS-Male contest Friday night, then maybe we can talk about other great players at other positions, throughout the state. One scrimage might not pursway the non-believers,but it will be a step in the right direction. :isurrender:
  6. Thats money for a great cause! (on a side note) I heard it through the Indiana grapevine that there were HHS players on station IBN6 this evening, does anybody have the scoop?? :idunno:
  7. Thanks for the info, I'll get there by 5:15 and then I won't miss a thing. I pray that we can keep all the players injury free this year. Go birds, one game at a time!!
  8. What time does the scrimage start against Male? :idunno:
  9. With Bardo at QB,I'll go out on a limb and say ,get out the record books there may be some passing/receiving records broken this year at Highlands. Even if the birds pass 50% of the time, the school and state records may be in jeopardy just because the receiving corps is so talented. With their speed and great hands, just a 5 yard pass could turn into a long gainer! The teams playing Highlands better bring their track shoes, between Bardo and the receivers there is a TON OF SPEED on this team!!! :scared:
  10. According to coach Mueller HHS has the best Seniors,Juniors, and Sophomores that he has ever had.So I would think the team is plenty deep. HHS plays Manual the first game of the season, then plays Cincy X a little later in the season. Thats when we will find out how deep they really are.
  11. Thanks C.F.!! Keep us informed. :thumb:
  12. Three and a half weeks till the season starts and really not a whole lot of bird talk going on. Why is it so quiet in Ft. Thomas, usually there is lots of information being spread about the birds and their opponents. Its kind of erie. Maybe its the calm before the storm. Maybe the birds don't want to let the cat out of the bag. I'm going crazy, where is all the Bluebird faithful?
  13. Thats another 6A school that I was refering to in post #28.
  14. If you read post #28,Ryle is one of the 6A teams that I was talking about. I have a lot of respect for anybody that agrees to the birds twice!! As for Manual, they are a powerhouse, but I'm not sure if they are on the same level of Lou.X and T right now. (JMO)
  15. I 'm curious, every year Highlands tries to schedule the powerhouse teams to play them, and the only ones that take them up on their offer is the ones from Ohio. Why is that? :scared:
  16. If they played in 3A,where they should play, they are one of the best team in the country!! What would their won/loss record be iif they played in 3A from the get go? They constantly play 6A teams and usually one or two of the big boys from Ohio, and are very competitive, in all of those games!!! You can have your doubts, but I'll put the birds in a class of their own,at the top!!
  17. Would have even been better if they said they were a 3A school playing in a 5A division.
  18. Maybe somebody thinks this game will be exciting enough to draw a large T V audience. I have watched many H. S. games on T.V. that were completly boring, and these were supposed to be some great teams from Florida and Texas ....ect ...ect. One thing for sure X and HHS will not be boring. As coach M. said he wants to be national champs, not just state champs. One way to get recognized is to be on national T.V. (IMO)
  19. Does anybody know when the season tickets go on sale? Are they sold in the bookstore at Highlands? (If the answers are against BGP rules please sendme a PM. (Thanks)
  20. As per the bolded , with the giant fan bases of X and Highlands, and maybe one of the biggest games ever(IMO), where are they going to put everybody? :idunno:
  21. Highlands has another 7 on 7 at 5pm on thursday evening (someone please correct me if I'm wrong),if you get the chance to attend, you really should,it's nice watching the talented receivers catching passes from a very talented quarterback. I had my doubts, but after watching Bardo throw pass after pass with extreme accuracy, I'm now a big believer!!! As per the bolded,he is definately legit. WITHOUT A DOUBT!!!!
  22. Brandon looks great!! It looks like he has added some upper body weight and muscle. He looked like he was happy playing football again. Tough kid, looks like he is ready to put the pads on and go at it again. He had some nice catches at the 7 on 7 today. :thumb:
  23. Congrats!! Your going to a great school,we wish you the best Andrew!!! :thumb:
  24. Bardo looked superb!! Maybe two misfires the whole day.He throws the long pass with velosity and a nice touch.(its a thing of beauty!!) His medium range and short passes are like a heat seeking missile. Today Bardo was by far the best.
  25. It was 7 on 7. Highlands looked scary good!! Highlands receivers had many great catches and ran great routes. Highlands D looked a bit shakey at first ,then settled down and played better at the end. Too many scores to keep track of, but HHS had many more scores than Moeller.
