Elliott Co is not usual!! The highlighted is entirely up to the coach. Not up to fans or spectators or critics whom have never coached a single minute of high school ball and probably wouldnt have the guts if someone asked them to!!!

I would say if he is that good a shooter it wouldn't matter who is around him he should shoot more. Being that good if he shot more you might have beat Tate's Creek. With 3 high D1's around him I know he isnt drawing no where near the best defender. The level of defender one draw's would have to be taken in to consideration when being touted as a great shooter.:thumb:

I agree with wireman! South Charleston will be Elliotts first game of the season. The rest according to PO were less than a practice. I always like the underdog so I am going with Elliott by 1.

I will never get to try and guard his jumper, but I will get to say he will be MR.Basketball. He is livin the dream baby!!!!

If you did you would know that Ferg averaged 19.6ppg 5bds, 2asst 2steals. for DS who were about 33-10 while he was with them. He wiil NOT win Mr basketball but he has proven year in and year out he can play with anyone at any level. I saw one of the top aau teams in nation put a 6'5" chaser on Ferg and he scored 30 hitting 6 threes over him. He has averaged around 20ppg with every aau team he has been with in last 6 years. He also scored 27, and 19 against Miller and Company. He gets the numbers regardless of what region or state he is playing in. Will he win Mr B-Ball, No that is Hoods! Is he on the same level with Jenkins and the rest of them, Yes. I like Eta Rho have watched all these guys play for the last 6years and Ferg has played and traveled with several of them and competed against them almost always getting his 20-24pts 5-6 boards, couple asst and steals!! To answer someone elses question...He has some offers but hes holding off to see what happens with a couple others he's really interested in.

Can you blame them? When your experiencing something "AWESOME" for the first time in your life, it is easier to go over the edge!:ylsuper::banana::thumb::lol:

On a different thread some seem to think I posted falso info about some ridiculous game scores. Jackson City 215--Woodsomething academy 28. Go to khsaa.org and you will fing those scores are true blue.:thumb:

You weren't allowed to belly up to the offensive player and if you more or less breathed on him it was a foul. So good shooters scored tons of points because they basically had no hand in their face so to speak. The game is a LOT more physical now. No defense compared to now days.

They are supposedly the # 1 team in WV. Alas according to P.O. on here they aren't very good!!

You have no clue how old I am. You were not there in my era I am sure. Boyd trounced Elliott and never called off the dawgs. So I don't beg, but I do differ!!!!!!!! Everyone is always accusing Elliott of running up the score also. You may have saw games that they didn't, but I saw games where they did.

As good as Shelby Valley is, you would think they would schedule tougher competition. I noticed most of their comp is in their region. They only have maybe 6-7 games out of region and I noticed they even scheduled a couple of the weak 16th region teams. I would have scheduled two team's tougher than the 16th and got my team ready for tournament time. Those weak teams just won't get you ready, according to popular opinion.

We definately know it will end, but one cannot blame us for "ridin it to the finish" wide open with both barrel's smokin:flame::banana::thumb::ylsuper:

Yes!!!!!!!! That was back in my day and Boyd and some others were beating Elliott boys and girls by 50 and 60 point margins and didn't call off the dawgs. No one said a word when they were doin it to Elliott. Now Elliott fans are giving the sleep icon back to them. We have already been on the recieving end Mr. Cool. Now we are on the giving end.:dancingpa

In cause you aren't up to date, ALL Elliott fans know everyone thinks our schedule is worthless. Everyone should be tickled, because if the schedule dont get us prepared then it will be easier to knock us off.

I agree about most consistent. The three games I watched this year Euton was the most consistent and the hardest playing they had.
