I don't expect to a program this young to garner praise from the "experts". It's kind of an insult to them that this bunch of Florida grown talent, made up of UF, FSU, Miami, and, to a lesser extent, Louisville rejects, could possibly be knocking off traditional powers. USF reminds me of the University of Miami in the late 70's and early 80's.

 

I like just missing the top 25. In fact, I hope the "powers that be" keep them out for a few more weeks. It's easier to torpedo the enemy, if you stay under the radar.

It just dawned on me. USF may be in the top 25 for the first time in it's history. How cool is that?!!

SF pushed all the right buttons late; the big return sure helped. Pretty big upset being at Auburn. Maybe the Big East is a little better than some give credit for?

Nah. Auburn is not indicative of a good SEC team.

You can say what you want, but them Bulls ain't bad for a bunch of Florida, FSU, Miami, and Louisville rejects. 99% of those kids are Florida boys. This tie is a win for the future, from a recruiting standpoint. I'm happy now.

The Bulls have to put a drive together here, or it's over. The defense can't last much longer.

Auburn's size is topping the Bulls speed, though. I'd be surprised USF can stay with the War Eagles. Lead or not.

Well that settles it. The next time we're up there, you and Mrs. S (aka the Scrabble Queen) will have to face off. I bet you're good at crossword puzzles, too.

That D is tremendous and can track and tree a fast QB. This team scares me as much as WVU and UofL coming into the RayJay this year. USF could lose all three conference home games.

I believe they did. I also believe that the MTSU/FAU game was an anomole for MTSU, much as our complete and total meltdown @ South Florida was for us some years ago.

 

No, MTSU isn't Ohio State, but they're no JUCO either.

Actually it was year before last and since UofL hasn't won in Tampa yet (0-2), we'll see on Nov. 17 whether that was an anomaly or not.

No...I'm saying this was NO flavor Defense! :lol: At least vanilla would have livened it up a bit.
