Yes section 125 Row A... Was going to hit you up for the best pre game spots but completely forgot about it.

I was not at the game, having given my season tickets to my son-in-law. (Long explanation).

@Run To State was down here visiting and maybe we could altered our Friday plans to meet up. However, I know it's hard to do. I've messed up several possible meetups with BGP UC fans over the years. Ain't got one right, yet.

  4. This is the last week of the regular season in Florida.

The teams I follow that played last night...

St. Pete Northeast 21 Largo 14

    Sarasota Riverview 21 Charlotte 14

FWIW, in Florida each region of each class has 4 districts each. The regional rounds have 8 teams involved. Seeds 1-4 are seeded by district winners positioned by RPI ranking. Seeds 5-8 are made up of non-district winners within the region determined and positioned by RPI ranking. Then the standard 1 v 8, 2 v 7, 3 v 6, 4 v 5 method is used with the higher seeds playing at home in round 1.

I've been taking Vitamin D daily for several years now.

I take 500 IU everyday in my Centrum Silver and I live in Florida so I get lots of sunshine year round. I supplement my daily vitamin pill with 1000 mg of vitamin C, 1000 mg of B12, and 50 mg of Zinc.

  6. Florida teams I follow ...

    Countryside 55 Fivay 8 (Clinched 6A Region 3 District 9)

    ------

    Hillsborough 14 Gaither 7

    Largo 64 Leto 0

    Mitchell 44 Sickles 28

There is a 3 way tie for 1st in (7A Region 3 District 9) between Gaither, Largo, and Mitchell. Mitchell beat Gaither and lost to Largo. Gaither beat Largo, but lost to Mitchell. Mitchell has a slight edge over Largo in RPI, Gather is also close.

    ------

    Clearwater 49 Dunedin 28 (5A Region 3 District 10 Champion)

River Ridge 43 Tampa Freedom 14

    Eastlake 35 Alonso 26

    Venice 42 Sarasote Riverview 7

    Apopka 41 Lake Brantley 3

    And for @Tigerpride94 ...

    Tampa Jesuit 56 King 0

There is still one week left in the regular season.

@swamprat any idea what kind of cable I need to plug the 2nd hard drive above into a USB port?

I bought the cable rjs recommended and it worked great for the 1st hard drive pictured above. It doesn't fit the 2nd one.

The same SATA connection used on the other hard drive is this on hard drive. What you are showing is simply another plug that interfaces between the hard drive and the laptop motherboard. Pull on it. It should slide right off.

I Googled that last night. His remains were located in the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park, which is part of the T. Mabry Carlton Reserve and Myakka River State Park. All of the recreational areas contain a web of rivers, streams and creeks, and all have significant portions of seasonal wetlands. I'd have to assume the area 'previously underwater' would have been one of those seasonal wetlands.

I camped in Myakka River State Park a few times when I first got down here. It's not that far south of the TBA. We would always go in the mid-fall and late winter, due to the wetlands. The normal summertime rainfall pattern here keeps the wetlands flooded until early October. We've been a dry pattern since early to mid-September, so the wetlands have dried up some.

North Port is on the south side of the reserve, north of the Port Charlotte/Ponta Gorda area.

They're elite this year. They're usually in the Southern part of the bracket which means in years past they have to go through a South Florida team to get to a state championship game. Districts are new this year so I'm not sure what side of the bracket they'll fall on this year, but if it's the south then they'll have to deal with Miami Northwestern in the semi final round.

Jesuit is the class of 6A Region 3. According to the FHSAA playoff predictions, they will get Sumner in the first round, since the regions first seed gets the eighth seed. Seeds 5 thru 8 are at large seeds determined by RPI. IMO, all of the at large seeds are much better than the probable winner of district 9, Countryside. Countryside, the 4th seed, is projected to get the 5 seed Northeast, who they lost to at home 42-7 a few weeks ago. Countryside is currently 4-4 and 10th in the region in RPI. 3 of those 4 wins are over district 9 opponents.

While I think district winners should be in the playoff, I feel they should seed position by RPI. That way Jesuit would get Countryside in the first round.

Do you follow Tampa Jesuit? I saw they are ranked #3 in FL on Calpreps.

I follow all of the schools in the Tampa Bay area, much like I follow Kentucky football. However, there are schools that mean something to me at some level, just as there are in Kentucky.

    Mrs. S graduated from Clearwater.

My kids graduated from Largo and Gaither.

My granddaughter will be going to Apopka.

I live right smack between Sickles and Alonso. I've been to several games at each school and have close friends who have or have had kids go to each.

My grandson plays at Countryside, so I follow that school and all of the schools in Countryside's district, River Ridge, Sunlake, Fivay, and Tampa Freedom.

I started following Sarasota Riverview 4 years ago, because eaglefan74's kid went there.

  10. The schools can't even stop rushing the field. The SEC needed to send a clear and decisive message. They did not and people like to repeat bad behavior for some reason. This will happen again.

The only clear and decisive message would have been at least a million dollar fine and forfeiture of all remaining home games.

  11. Garmisch - A ski resort in Bavaria. Great place to go in the summer. Dad would take us there for vacation, when we lived there. The water in the lake is ice cold in July. You can take an arial cable car to the top of the Zugspitze. I haven't been there since I was a kid, but we have friends living in Munich who went there this summer. From their experience and the pictures they posted on FB, it is still the same. Beautiful place.
