I would have liked to seen him in an Olando Solar Bears uniform, because that would put him in the Lightning affiliation chain. I follow the AHL TB affiliate, Syracuse Crunch, as well and it would have been nice to see him come up though this organization. As it is, he is in the Ottawa Senators affiliation chain. Here is hoping he moves up quickly.

Minnesota State, who entered the game on an 18 game winning streak, lead 1-0 after 2 periods and were poised to win their first ever NCAA Championship. However, Denver tied the game a little less than 5 minutes into the third and took the lead 3 minutes later. The Pioneer's went up 3-1 with a little over 6 minutes left in the game and added 2 empty net goals to win their 9th title. 

Actually Mannheim Steamroller's Fresh Aire premiered (January 1, 1975) before Convoy (November 15, 1975). Fresh Aire was the first of a series of 7 albums named Fresh Aire. I bought Fresh Aire IV in 1981 and have all of them, now, in digital form.

The Irish score with less than a second on the clock in regulation to break a 1-1 tie. However, after a God awfully long review, the goal was waved off. Less than 2 minutes into OT, Notre Dame's Graham Slaggert hit a slap shot from right circle to claim the win.

Notre Dame meets #1 seed Minnesota State tomorrow night for a place in the Frozen Four.

Spent my first week without a mask on at work in over 2 years. The place smells funny. 

I have a friend from the Ukraine. Her parents are in Kyiv and in hiding. She is worried sick. 

Season 2 will be "Die Trying". Yes!! 

Reacher actually has a phobia that reveals itself in this book. It will be interesting to see how they deal with it. If done right, everybody should cringe. 🤨

I also hope they do a season using "Hard Luck and Trouble" as the book of basis. That is the book where the phrase "You do not mess with the Special Investigators." originated.  

You are not going to find a bigger Jack Reacher fan on earth than me. If I like a book I will read it at least twice, because I pick up different things the second time through. I own every Jack Reacher book and its audio version, including the short stories, and have read or listened to them all many times. Therefore, I am more than capable of picking out each discrepancy in this series. And that is why my wife refused to watch it with me. She binge watched it twice while I was at work and loved it. 

With that preface, I will tell you that I just finished the series and I loved. I liked how they worked Neigly in, though she is not in the book, the twist with the Kliner kid, and the Stan Lee bit. The love interest of Blind Blake was missing and they totally messed up the references to the short story "Second Son" which the cutaways to Jack's child hood were portrayed. FWIW, the scene with Reacher's mother dying is from "The Enemy". 

The book was written in first person, so they had to make Reacher more verbal or the show would be nothing but voice overs by Jack and him staring at the camera. 75% of the book is what is going on in Reacher's head. That doesn't translate well to a visual medium. 

While Jack Reacher reacher is cerebral, he fights a lot. He has multiple altercations in every book. In "Second Son" Jack's lizard brain is revealed as he solves multiple situations for his dad and the MPs (How he is portrayed n that scenario is the only thing i did not like about the series). Since most of the books are written in first person, those who have read them know he is cerebral, but his solution to righting wrongs often manifests itself in violence. 

They've already started on season 2. I hope they stay with the publish order of the books, which means the next one is "Die Trying". I can see how they may skip the books set in Reacher's past and keep doing cutaway references to them, though "The Affair" and "Night School" would be fun to see.

Several people from up there have attended high school games with me here in Tampa Bay and have been surprised by the band playing during game play. I see and hear cowbells, air horns, and vuvuzelas all of the time.

In fact, this season, there was a home fan who blasted an air horn during JV game that disrupted the home offense on a critical 4th down play and cost them the game. It was obvious the blast startled a lineman and caused a false start. I checked before leaving and a couple of player parents were relieving the fellow of his air horn. 😷

Had a person inform us that their daughter, who lives at home, tested positive, today. Luckily I did not have to go into the department they worked in to get them outfitted to work from home. The person got tested this evening. I do not know the results, but they are quarantined for the time being. If they do test positive, it will be their 3rd time.

We also had a person test positive over the holiday.  

At this rate, I will be the only one here by the end of the week. 😷

I like Dixie and order a case every now and again. However, it is still too watery for me. I always add a can or three to a pound of ground beef and cook it down a bit. Now, that is a treat. 

I talked to a nursing director for a hospital in Orlando. She said Omicron has milder symptoms verses previous strains, but it is more contagious. She compared it to measles, in that regard. 

My daughter-in-law, her sister, and 2 of their friends (all gators) went to the game and stayed here, last night. Not a happy bunch. 

To make them feel better, I served them coffee in UK mugs, this morning. 😇
