  1. I don't care with what people say. I know I may be a little biased but the camels will have a strong team this year. The kids that played on the JV last year could have played on a hand full of varsity teams in NKY. They played with each other as freshman and had an outstanding record in which I only think they lost 6 games, but were split up the past two years with some being on JV and others on varsity. The coaches for the Camels this year will have the kids ready to play an I am sure on it.
  2. Oldteacher, you sound like an unhappy person. I think by your comment that coaches do not show up for practices and just before a game is funny. I have never seen a coach showup late for a game or miss practices unless a warranted excuse was valid. Did you coach? Were you on time and and did you have discipline? Also, how can you comment if you never went to a game.
  3. Old Teacher I was just wondering, but have you ever even been to a Campbell vs. Brossart baseball game on any level?
  4. The batter did not move and the cather's arm hit the batter while attempting to make the throw to get the guy at third. It is the right call, the runner at 3rd is called out. Oh and by the way Brossart's JV team was missing many of their main players in the first meeting against the Camels due to the fact that they were playing Varsity against the Camels that same night. Probably a good reason as to why they got beat pretty handedly. And also N KY Sports CEO, on the umpire's call I still don't think you know what you are talking about. Weren't you the one before saying the ball hit the runner at 3rd?

Oh and by the way Brossart's JV team was missing many of their main players in the first meeting against the Camels due to the fact that they were playing Varsity against the Camels that same night. Probably a good reason as to why they got beat pretty handedly. If i'm not mistaken the players that went and played varsity that night played the first couple of innings in the jv game and then left for the varsity game. The Camels scored 10 of there 15 runs in the first 1-3 innings. The camels have way more talent than brossart. The only reson why they lost the second game was becuase they over looked brossart and went through the motions.
  6. For JV i would have to say CCHS. They beat scott in the regular season and for brossart in the first game they won very handedly. For the second game though brossart did win, but the camels played in my opinion their worse game of the season and indeed went though the motions. If you would go back and look at there records last year the camels beat many of the teams brossart lost to very handedly and also made it father in the JV tourney. I'm predicting it right now, the camels win the district and make a stong push to win the region.
  7. There was a man on second and he attempted to steal. When the catcher came up throwing to thrid trying to get the runner out, he moved up and while trying to make the throw he hit the batter who was still in the batters box. Interference was called on the batter and if i'm not mistaken the runner at 3rd was called out. It was one of the most terrible calls in my opinion. You could even see were the batters foot prints were in the batters box.
  8. Camels should put on a good show. As the season goes on, I expect them to really show how talented they are.
  9. Cambell County / Pendleton Predictions Should be a good Varsity game, both teams should matchup. Coaching should be the key. JV edge goes to the Camels. Freshmen, can the Lady Freshmen win their first game? Have not heard anything on the Ladycats Freshmen. Should be a good night of Basketball starting at 4:30 at CCHS.
  10. Where does Title IX come into play here. I believe that the banners sold in the Field House are monies that the school is entitltled to and not the program. Are the girl's being given the same opportunity that the boys have? I would hope that Mason County is doing things the right way here when it comes to Title IX.
  11. Also, some quit because of playing time. I feel at the 8th Grade, you need to build for the future, but having girls that leave to go to other schools that take up others players playing time hurts a program. This does not help develop players when they do not get time.
  12. One went back to Saint Mary's after seventh grade, since her family is big at Brossart. Another went to Brossart after attending CCMS through the eighth grade, following her friend that left the year before.
  13. One girl that played in the eight grade tore her ACL, some of them went to Brossart, and several that have some talent, have quit playing.
  14. The Birds do have a good Freshmen team. The Lady Camels Freshmen have only a few players that can really play. This year should be better than last year with the team only winning one game. They should improve as the season moves on.
