Camel Fan 81

For Beechwood sake, I hope a certain person keeps her nose out of the picture. Any true Camel Fan would know what we are reffering to. Maybe for Senior night, they might show up.

The Camels should be able to play tommorrow on their field. This past saturday the Freshman, JV, and Varsity were able to get on the field and practice. The only problem was behind home plate which was a still muddy.

Gus Johnson has to be the best march madness anouncer. Nothing is better than hearing him anounce a last shot of a game.

Maybe it was BR that they were referring to.

Someone said Ed Cravens was leaving Campbell and he might be interested.

Campbell County should get votes before Brossart, the wheels are starting to come off of Brossart's Sports Programs. They have lost a lot, this is just not baseball but all sports. Putting them in front of Campbell County in a poll is insane. Polls do not mean a whole lot, that is why they play the game. Northern Kentucky has some very good teams this year. Let hear from the Northern Kentucky fans!

Maybe we can get the adminstration to do it's job and have the place be smoke free. Wait a minute, I have the announcer tell everyone during play by play.

First all of all, smoking on school grounds is prohibited by law. I think if his annoucning is fine, first it is the football Announcer and now everyone complains about basketball.. What can I say, maybe a little jealosy that since both announcers get involved with the games. This was a good game, and both schools represented their District well. Good luck to the Lady Camels on Friday.

First congrats to Scott on the win and the Distrcit Title. Now on to that guy wearing the blue hoodie. You have no class what so ever and totally made a fool of your self tonight!! I applaud the CCHS students for not running onto the court after seeing how that guy acted. It's pretty sad to see a bunch of teenagers have more class and respect than a parent who is supposedly an employee in the kenton county school system and who is also suppossed to be setting a good example for students. Either the Administration, the AD, the Superitendent, or scott's coach needs to seriously sit down and talk to this fool letting him know that his actions after the game were unacceptable by all means. Once again though, Congrats to Scott and good luck to both teams next week.

No love lost here, he never supported the Camel Athletic Programs. He could not make an Awards Banquet one year. He inherited a good team, and if he made a statement about leaving, he got his just do.

Out of all the teams in NKY, who do you think will have the best three outfielders for the 2008 season?

One or two players do not make a team, pitching is not about throwing hard all the time. Keeping the opposing team off balance is what the true pitchers do. Anyone can throw a Fastball down the middle of the plate, and eventually the batters will catchup with it. Also, I do believe this class has faired well in the JV tournament the last two years losing to Beechwood and Cov Cath in the Semi Finals. If you put any of the kids on a gun, I would like to know when, how fast, and where.

If you know the Camels so well, spell Coffman right. I do not know where you get your info, but it sould like you are into bowling and not baseball. The Camels have the staff, and Andy Franzen is going to try and pitch this year, if he does this will only solidify this team.

Woodruff throws hard. Gary throws hard. Hinkle throws hard. Dryer has good control. Coffman should have better control this year with throwing hard.

Camels, I think are loaded with Woodruff, Gray, Hinkle, Dryer, and Coffman. But this is my opinion. They should do well in the District and region. The Seniors at Campbell are hungry.

GRC's JV and Varsity play Brossart Saturday night in Alexandria. Brossart will pull their girls down that play up in the Freshmen Tournament, for they always have in soccer and other venues. They are also scheduled to play a Freshmen game at 4:30 against each other. If GRC beats Campbell in the Freshmen game they will play Brossart in the tournament.

Since they do not play again, how will we know? Also, if theLady Camels Freshmen continue to finish out with a 3-2 Zone and running only 1 offensive play,they might not win another game. I am not joking, the coaching is a joke. There is talent there, the coach's job is to bring out the talent and make it better, give less experience players a chance and develop them, and finally put your team in the position to win a game. Not calling time outs, not pressing, not playing man to man defense and many other factors lead to a team looking and playing bad.

The Camels should of have beat the Lady Cats, if the Freshmen coach would play something else besides a 3-2 Zone and run the same offensive play all night, it would of have been a different game. The Freshmen girls are better than 2 wins out of 13. Watching these girls a couple of times, I shake my head and wonder where the program is going with the coaching.

Darius Miller did not play as well as he could of have. Seeing him for the first time, I feel he is better than he showed tonight. The one handed dunk was amazing, he is better than he showed. Not to take anything away, I think he just kind of went through the motions. Mason County willl win the Region hands down, and I think that make a run for the State. Now, the referees were terrible, but they did not cost the game for the Camels. I hope that the review on this crew would keep them from doing a real game that is real important.

I would like to correct myself on this. The past two years they have made it to the Semi Finals of the JV tourney and not the finals. But i still think though this year they will be hungry, and have the drive and determination to be succesful.

Camel senoir class this year will prevail, most of these young men were on the JV squad that made it to the finals in the JV tournament thier junior and sophmore seasons. These young men are hungry, and the have the drive and determination to be successful.

Lady Camels last week finally won. They went 2 and 1 int the last three games, losing to Holy Cross and beating St Henry and Belleview. They stand at 2-10 right now and are better than what their record shows.

Any freshmen girls records?

Tubby was a good coach I give that to him. But the guy could not recruit at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wasn't he the one that let Chris Lofton go? Isn't he the one who recruited Shagari Alien, Morris, Rondo (who both turned out to be wastes of scholarships), Orbzut, and many more players who turned out to be really nothing? This is a rebuilding year and once Billy G. recruits more players that has the potential just like Patterson and fit his style of coaching, the program will be turned back around for the good.

I know many people are bashing the Job Billy G. has done so far at UK. But i think that he is doing all he can do. Just think without Billy G's recruiting we would not have Patrick Patterson. What I truly believe though is that Tubby Smith has ruined UK basketball team for atleast this year. What do you all think??
