  1. You are corect, but when a game plan is not working(shooting 3,s) maybe an inside game would produce a few more points. I'm just saying it is not always only the players fault for a loss. Sorry, it sounds like I hit a sore spot!!
  2. Maybe the BC coaching staff should have come up with a different game plan.
  3. Mason Co., St. Pat., Augusta, and Bracken Co. are in the 39th.
  4. Bracken Co. was up the entire game, but 10 points was the biggest margin.
  5. Bracken Co. has some good young players and could surprise some teams in the 39th.
  6. Sounds like you did very well in high school and then after you got to college you needed to develop a little more. That would have been the time to consider a red shirt year. When childen are in grade school or middle school, sports should not be the primary concern of the child or parent. Let the kids be kids and when they get more mature(college age) and they are good enough to go to the next level let them decide what they want to do.
  7. The maturity and strength between a 14 and a 15 or 16 year old freshman is considerable. But any parent that holds their child back a year just so can play sports is not thinking of the child just themselves.
  8. I'm sure everyone in Bracken Co. appreciates your opinion and are so glad you follow our teams so intently.
  9. Holding them under their season average, I would say is in check.
  10. The Bears handled the pressure pretty well and held the King boys in check.
  11. Bracken boys played hard and didn't give up. At end of first quarter was down 20-2. Out scored Bourbon 2nd quarter and then played even the rest of game.
  12. No 8th graders yet, but after their season is over that is possible.
  13. Andrew Cummins did start for Bracken and scored 19 points and pulled down 9 rebounds.
