With Bell Co. and Catholic in the bottom bracket, I think Fairdale has a legitimate shot at being in the finals. On the other hand, they also could legitimately be beaten in the first round.

Don't discount Fairdale. After being blown out by Male in the first game of the season they lost only two games by three points combined. The Valley loss was a gift to Valley. The Fairdale coach was disciplining several (4 or 5, I believe) starters that played both ways. This allowed Valley to jump out to an 18-0 lead while these starters were on the bench during the first half. Fairdale still nearly won the ball game. The other loss to Doss was the worst game I've seen Fairdale play this year and they still would have won the game if the center didn't blow the snap on a 19 yard field goal with less than 10 seconds in the game. If Mills is on, Fairdale can put some points up on anyone in 4A.
