McPeek has went as far as to say that he didn't know the player was ineligible. Are you kidding? They act like this kid came from Mars when in fact he came from a neighboring school district.

He has resigned. Of course Musick says he didn't ask for any resignations and McPeek said he was asked to resign. For the record I agree with a poster on another message board that said there are few innocent victims in this situation. Everyone in the area knows Fairview has been cheating including Fairview parents and players.

So Nat McPeek was asked to resign according to his quote. I thought Musick said the opposite on Monday.

That's great to know but I'm not sure what your point is. Music oversees the smallest school district in the FIVCO area and makes the second most money. Add the fact that Fairview has nearly closed on a couple of different occassions in the past 15 years and it just doesn't seem to fit. By the way, alcoholic beverages were illegal in the 1920's

I agree with all the bolded with the exception of #4. I'm not sure I can make that blanket statement. I'm sure there are some grade school teachers who have no idea what is going on with football and couldn't care less.

I can say with a high degree of certainty that there are current Fairview players who are already planning a future elsewhere.

The use of the word "children". Musick is attempting to paint the picture that the KHSAA would be attacking children if the sanctions are harsh. That word was carefully chosen, he isn't the second highest paid school official in the area for nothing.

That is very manipulative language in my opinion.

I love how Musick refers to them as "our children". You can always tell when someones back is up against the wall.

It's more simple than that. It's fraud if they claimed a student lives in Kentucky and he doesn't. I can assure that has been the case. What if they have to pay back all the state money they have received in the past for those that used false addresses?

I believe someone said that to your relative but there was no connection between Rose Hill and Fairview. In addition any problems Rose Hill encountered was much later.

Rose Hill got a two year post season ban for an improper scholarship for 1 player. A player that didn't play his senior year. I have to believe that the hammer is coming down at least that hard on Fairview.

It's just like Watergate, everyone is scrambling.
