I have seen MC play in the past. Very well coached. Very disciplined.

I have not seen Huber play this year, but she was solid in last year's 9th Region Tournament.

As I stated on the other thread, Walton should be in the top 10. They play a brutal schedule.

Walton should be in the top 10. Because they play such a tough schedule, they seem to get "roller coasted" in these polls.

It seems that the refs were backed into a corner and had no choice but to follow the rules. Can't really blame them.

I'm really glad this thread picked up some steam. As I stated earlier, the point guards work very hard with little or no recognition. I am really going to miss the astute observations that we all share on BGP (or as a friend of mine who played for Nell at Boone County calls us "a bunch of fat old men bragging about their children and grandchildren" which hits the nail on the head for me)! Good luck to all of the teams in the postseason and most importantly I hope all of the players stay healthy!!

Moss is a Great basketball player! I think that says it all!

I have not seen Moss play point guard, but she does have great vision and passing skills (very important for the position).

Not going to argue over who is the top point guard in NKy. Although I don't believe it's Moss. But for what it's worth, Clark shredded Walton earlier this season shortly after leading the Pandas to the soccer state championship. I have not seen Gayheart play, Cheeseman is a fine player.

Moss is not the best point guard in NKy. I am sure that she would be the first to admit that. She is the best player (IMO).

Golden triangle reference is usually reserved for soccer forums (Lex, Ville, and Nky.). Agree with what you're saying though!

Final from West Chester. The JV score was similar. Both Panda teams were the victims of HORRIBLE officiating. The 9th Region officials have done a solid job all season. That fact made this game very difficult to watch. The GMC officials were the worst that I have seen in 7 years of watching Girl's high school basketball. Congrats to Lakota West for the win. I am sure that the Pandas will forget this nightmare in a hurry.

I'm not surprised that this thread didn't get any replies. IMO, the point guards work as hard as anyone on the court, yet get very little recognition because assists don't get the "press" that points get. But, it's the nature of the beast. Even in the NBA, Steve Nash is the only point guard that gets recognized for his ability to create assists.

Congrats! Always has been a very competitive player, even in grade school and middle school! Great accomplishment!

The Pandas jumped out to a big lead and never looked back. Peacock had a great game for the Lady Cougars (26 pts, ?).
