I'm totally sure, but I believe Coach Washington resigned due to family obligations and school obligations (furthering his education). Coach Washington is a fine individual.:thumb:

I think "chip off the old block" would be a close and accurate assement.:lol: Yes his daddy was a hard nosed very tough football player at BCHS back in the mid 80's.

BYU invitited him to walk on. He choose to take the scholarship in Northern Ohio and I think his major had a lot to do with him choosing Heidelberg, and probably 5 hours travel -vs- 72 hours travel time probably had something to do with it to?

Poynter was the D.C. under Dudley Hilton when they won the 1997 State Championship at Bourbon County. I think Poynter would be an excellent choice. Didn't he turn the Trimble program around?

I don't think the Supertd. wants to invest due to it being in a flood-proned area. That stinks really bad. I have another word for it- but it would get filtered. If you have been at Paris, and I know you have, right on top that big hill would be ideal spot for a nice sports complex/fieldhouse.

It is official Travis Angel will be going to Heidelberg College (Tiffin Oh). He will be playing on their football team. :ylsuper: I wouldn't be suprised to see Travis getting some FB time along with some MLB playing time. They are NCAA Div. III, Ohio Athletic Conference.
