I wished I could have made the trip to Russell, but I got to listen to it on the radio and go nuts when they called the facemask. I can only hope that this makes Simon Kenton play like they did against Russell and Ryle everynight and not like they did against Boone.

Well if Highlands wins I still will not call them the best freshman team in Northern Kentucky because they are not. I would admit that I was wrong and that Highlands won the game, however, Simon Kenton will win this game because SK will not take them lightly or overlook them. If they overlook them than I will give all the credit to Highlands and their players. What is your reasoning for stating that SK will lose to a team that has already been beat by Ryle and Campbell, who SK handled fairly easily. What will be your response if Highlands loses?

SK will beat Highlands with or without Crane. They are by far the best freshman team in Northern Kentucky and if Crane can't play in this game they have plenty of talent to make up for it. SK already beat Ryle and Campbell and they are better than Highlands.

The two best teams are Simon Kenton and Campbell county. Simon Kenton is undefeated and Campbell has only lost one, I believe, and that was to SK.

I think most of simon kentons d linemen are getting double teamed.

Both Rabe and Hopperton are great competitors and love to win. They most likely won't start, but I think the best thing about them playing this year is that they will give Maegley two strong guys to go up against everyday in practice and to make him more physical. Maegly needs to become a lot more physical in order for him to progress and both of those guys will give him everything he can handle in practice.

The second stongest? Hopperton may have Rabe on squat, but Rabe has him on bench from what i hear. Both are very competitive and this could make for a fun season at simon kenton. :argue:

It used to be based on the amount of wins outside of the region. Thats how SK got into the playoffs in 2005, however for some reason I believe the tiebreaker has changed.

Simon Kenton will be able to hold Farris in check this week. Farris will get his 100 yards, but Simon Kenton's defense bends and doesn't break so I don't think farris will get into the endzone more than once, and Farris will carry the ball 30+ times. Ryles runningback had 175 yards on this defense, but they were able to cause turnovers and tighten up when they got close to the redzone.

I think if Ryle throws the ball a lot this game will be a close one for the Raiders. If they pound it they should easily win this game by 28+.

Simon Kenton is playing great as of lately and they seem to be on a mission. This will be a very close game and I think Simon Kenton's defense will be able to contain Farris. Simon Kenton has a very good line to compete with Boone and the linebackers fly to the ball. If Boone can make the plays throught the air they can win this game. If they don't I will take SK 21 Boone 10

Highlands 49 Scott 0 This game shouldn't be close at all. I look for the Highlands starters to be out way before the fourth quarter begins.

How did Farris look tonight?

How did we not beat the team that beat Highlands, did Ryle add some great players since then. Why do I always hear the same reasons for SK winning big games. I always hear they weren't prepared tonight, it was too early in the season, and its not fair to the kids that play the game. They won the game fair and square Ryle just got beat by a better team.

Simon Kenton won the game 33-12. Simon Kenton appears to be the best team up here and they have a great backfield. Austin Baldwin and Corey Crane are very powerful runners and if they continue to progress they will be studs.

I thought DE #59 Mitch Clayton,WR #21 Josh Salyers,and WR #17 Grant Schneider had huge games. Some key receptions for first downs and a touchdown really helped the pioneers. Great win.

This was an outstanding game and SK proved that they are a team on a mission. Nate Ponzer, Tyler Rabe, Tyler Hopperton were beasts in this game and Pat Bustle had an amazing game. The Simon Kenton defense did what they needed to do to shut down Ryle and that was to make their quarterback throw the ball. This was a great game to watch and I am sure SK will not be overlooked again this season.
