  1. Yes, NKY has some of the best A and AA schools in the area, but I don't think that Dayton, Ludlow, Bellevue, or Bishop Brossart could compete with most of the A teams in the state. Maybe 50 percent of them or a little less.
  2. I have to go with Highlands on this one. They are just to fast. Covington Catholic may win three games this year.
  3. its gonna be a tough win for Raceland to beat LCA. I have seen LCA play and they have some size, and speed, with a good amount of talent.
  4. I bet this ones gonna be a dogfight, neither team has got off to a strong start. Both teams I think have lost to Dayton and Holmes has lost to Holy Cross also. So they really havent been playing well at all. I think Holmes will come out on top 24- 17
  5. I have to go with Bellevue on this, BB just doesnt have the talent yet.
  6. This is true, for some reason not many freshman from last year decided to play, 3 or 4 had serious health reasons and could not play. Also, during the spring conditioning, a couple of kids who have played in the past yearsa for the varsity just didn't have the will to keep "playing through the pain," so they quit. Beechwoods conditioning this year was really brutal, but the ones that got through it are in great shape and "want" to play football. This year is the first year i have really never seen Beechwood tired in a game, this is a major factor in why i think they can prevail over big schools. Plus they just have A LOT of talent.
  7. if the game is at Dayton, Dayton will win it. I think it will be a good game.
  8. Beechwood never dresses the freshman for any regular season games, they only dress for the playoffs. Usually 50 to 60 kids play for the varsity anyway, so dressing the freshman would just make it to crowded. Occasionally, therewill be a stud freshman ot two, and they will dress varsity as well as play freshman.
  9. beechwood scored 3 or 4 touchdowns i think off turnovers (interception returns mostly), they did not run up the score. Now lets get away from that, can BB play competitive enough to win some games this year?
  10. Last year Ludlow started out strong against Beechwood, but the heavy rain and muddy field slowed down beechwood, plus it was homecoming and Ludlow was pumped up. When they played the following morning and at beechwood (a dry, turf field) beechwood pulled away. I do remember ludlow having a good, fast QB, did he graduate or is he still there?
  11. im calling Beechwood vs. Mayfield in the playoffs, that is going to be the State Championship game
  12. Congrats to Dayton!! Sounds like it was a good game, next week Ludlow takes on the Big Red, any thoughts?
  13. good job tigers, and good job BB, great pride and sportsmanship really somes up that these guys have heart. You got down early but never quit and played with great class. The fans were the most supporting ive ever seen. Good luck in the rest of your season!!!
