Of course he did, he did the 5A game. This season was his fair well tour after putting in 40 years of officiating.

I'm counting only 4. 3 of which were on the 5A crew. The other being the white hat for the 2A game.

But you said it yourself that you don't like the politics about it and I completely agree, as I think most would. If the person who does the rotating of the officials is the commissioner then it is his call. I have heard the same private rumblings about officials but they will be ostracized if they speak out. A lot of people are aware of this issue but nothing changes. So either they make a fundamental change or you will continue to see championship games plagued with bad officiating which may or may not decide that fate of who takes home the hardware.

IMO they all have been in power to long and it's time for new blood. Some one has to take over sooner or later might as well be sooner. If everyone is fighting against you and in your words you say a lot of people disagree, maybe they are right and it's time to ride off into the sunset.

Here's a novel idea! Rotate and or set term limits on commish/board members and especially the assigner.

Heck there are some officials I wouldn't even let do a regular season game let alone semi final/ championship. Crazy idea would be to bring officials in from out of state. But there would be some issues with rules translating over.

Don't like the rule one bit but it's the rule none the less. Tough break for the Breds. Figured Mayfield was going to win but definitely makes the hurt even worse for NCC. If I said I felt bad for them I would be lying so.... Tough break for NKY football 0 titles this year. Would like to know the last time that happened.

Does anyone have the rule to post. I'm very interested in this and would like to see the language of the rule. Normally the don't just assign any crew to the state championship game without just cause.

Your wasting your time. Trying to drop even the least bit of football knowledge and logical on some of these cats is a complete loss. I mentioned a few basic points and it's the same people saying it's my "sour grapes" or my "judgement is clouded" when they couldn't give an honest unbiased breakdown if their life depended on it.

Well if you have a QB that doesn't average 1+ INT a game and can actually hit an open target Danville will be fine passing. Honestly NCC's is pretty well balanced on D they don't really a glaring strength or weakness. They make great half time adjustments, but it is very hard to make adjustments to speed. This game should be very interesting.

Desales has been coming along nicely since their regular season loss to CAL. Mayfield has pretty stayed at the top of their game all year. I think this one is going to be a slug fest. 28-21 Mayfield, they get the edge with home field advantage.

You are wrong as well. I hold no ill will against NCC they were clearly the better team. I want NKY to stay right at the top of the list with Louisville as the best football areas. BGP has Danville ranked in the top 5 all yr while NCC has been right with Lloyd inside the top 10. Most people have picked Mayfield to win 2A state and the majority of the others have picked Danville. I have a few friends from Boyle county and through out the state and we all shoot the perverbial excrement especially during HS football season. So people can take what I say as "sour grapes" but the people with actual football knowledge will understand and see the things I'm saying make sense and are very logical. I'm not shutting the door on NCC nor did I say they were going to lose. I just said that next week is going to be extremely tough and what NCC showed against Lloyd I'm not sure is enough. Even if Lloyd would have won tonight I would be saying the same things with regards to being the under dog and having a serious task at hand. People don't read to much into what is said and think things are emotion driven but there not.

That is where your wrong. I'm using those statements because it is common football knowledge and analysis. I do have displeasure with the Juggs coaching/lack there of, I have no problem in saying that. BUT I can back it with proof because I have extensive knowledge of the game.

IMO Danville would be the clear favorite. NCC only scored 14 points on O. Jacob smith had 1 good run of 54 yrds. He was bottled up most of the night. Hairball for NCC ran better. Plus smith was on crutches after the game. Lloyds Offensive game plan was a joke and that is putting it nicely. The game would have been closer if Lloyd took a knee on 1st, 2nd and 3rd then punted. If the admirals actually prepare for this game they will be just fine. I was afraid NCC was going to burn us with the passing game because of what they did against HC but was not really the case. I would like to see NKY send as many teams to state as possible but this matchup will be very tough for the Breds.

I don't know how well NCC will fair against Danville. They were up 36-0 on LCA, so NCC might have their hands full with a team with an offense.

Absolutely pathetic... I can't believe Lloyd just got embarrassed like that.
