IMO for what its worth, this years team can beat Trinity and X, however; they are State Champions, as are other teams, do all the teams need to keep jumping thru hoops, remember this is highschool football not the Rose Bowl, or Super Bowl. I say CONGRATS to all the players for all the teams that made the State Championship. They are hard working dedicated kids, and so are the Coaches and Parents. :dancingpa:banana::thumb:

I think of all the Seniors that have passed thru the last game, graduated and gone on to different walks of life learning that they start at the bottom again. Wish I could turn back the clock for many of them, but as the saying goes "thats the way the cookie crumbles". I see these seniors at h.s football games, its nice to talk with them, especially the ones that have gone on to play college ball and pro ball. Their memories will be in my heart forever. Watching them grow has been a thrill. To the players that graduated and now have the knowledge from paths they have chosen, they are just as important, as they to are giving back to the youth of today. Stay focused and be involved, someone did that for you. :dancingpa

There is nothing like Highlands on a cool Friday Night during football....other than being at Commonwealth Stadium watching the Wildcats. They both rate #1 :banana: :dancingpa

What happened to the days of yesteryear when the school or coaches had to displine your children or young adults? Parents, then, were in control of their offspring, and you dare not give the notion that there was the slightest thought of anything but your best conduct, or you were denied the privledge of participating in anything outside of the home. Anyone out there remember those days? :sssh:
