  1. No, but I would understand that if my job was to teach health and PE then I wouldn't complain when I was assigned a health and PE class. How has his workload been doubled? The same amount of class periods still exist in a day at Boyle County. Other teachers and coaches have been at Boyle longer than Coach Adams. They are expected to teach the class schedules given to them. I highly doubt that a teacher was sent by the administration to inform Coach Adams of the schedule change hours before the district tournament.
  2. Drivers Ed, PE, and Team Sports? How will he manage to juggle such a busy schedule?? :lol2:
  3. Other teams have fans just like Boyle and Bell. They need to state their own case if they are worried about this thread. This thread is about who is the number 1 ranked team...not which team will definately win the title. If fans from Holmes, Lone Oak, BE, Catholic, ACS, Western, the Jessamine schools, Knox Central, Rowan, or any other team feel that they have been slighted in the rankings then they can voice their own opinion. Boyle and Bell's fanbase are not always "tooting their own horn" they simply are out numbering other 4a fanbases in these threads.
  4. Will the JV team affect the team GPA? If so, some academic prerequisites may be in order.
  5. Flashdaddy-It should have never come down to what you call questionable calls. Nevermind that we had a touchdown called back on a legal block, or that we had two kids hit late 3 yards out of bounds and another late in the game that took #2 out of the game for several plays, a penalty on the sideline, several (3-4) holds, a very very bad roughing the passer call that allowed you to continue a drive, etc., etc., etc. Accept the fact that it should have never come down to this, and our boys played their hearts out and wouldn't accept defeat. (This group of officials was not very good). Congrats on a great season and you all have a great team. When Boyle decided to play in the 2nd half, the better team won. We'll look forward to hopefully seeing you again in the future! Kids and Coaches seemed like a class act!
  6. The bad part is he doesn't have to touch the ball more than 13-15 times a game. If he did there is no doubt he'd be leading the state in all sorts of categories. His numbers are unreal... He HASN'T HAD to carry the ball any more than 15 times a game yet to accumulate almost 700 yards of offense and at least 10 TD's (Not to mention nooone will kick to him). He would be silly given more touches-but BC has to keep him helalthy. I'm sure BC is using him sparingly seeing as he is how he is such a great asset. Unlike many Mr. Football prospects - where there coaches try to get them stats and into the high school picture....Just think this young man should definetely be considered. HE IS DEFINETELY IN THE TOP 5 KIDS IN THE STATE! Watch any films you can find~~~
  7. Game 1: Woodford Game 2: Beechwood Game 3: Boone Co. Game 4: Hopkinsville Game 5: Corbin
  8. They are in a JV conference and one school is in charge of sheduling for all the teams in that conference. No Juniors travelled to Pulaski they were all soph. and fresh. The varsity team has over 90 players and takes 4 buses to away games.
  9. Boyle Co. has counted the scrimmage against Rockcastle as one of the two legal scrimmages. The date of the next and last scrimmage is still TBD.
  10. I agree their is a mass of UK fans that are hypersensitive. In no way do I think these fans think the program is beyond criticism. They simply feel the need to defend the program whenever they can. Kentuckians are isolated in an environment where there are no local major pro sports and really only two large universities to cheer for. Kentuckians have been raised rooting for a program that has seen great success (in basketball). Fans in many other states have had multiple teams to cheer for (ex. Boston-Celtics, Bruins, Patriots, Red Sox). Many fans in smaller states similar to KY haven't been as fortunate rooting for a team that has had so much success. Many UK fans (not all) have traditionally mainly cheered for basketball (until more recently). This has caused an influx of hypersensitive fans that only focus on one or two sports of one college. Kentucky and their fans are truly unique. I think this is great and fans shouldn't have to feel ashamed because some bloggers feel the need to get upset when UK fans defend their team. Those offended are being hypersensitive by commenting on the subject in the first place. Louisville fans (I don't want to leave you out) you are special too.
  11. That was completely a lucky guess. I was actually making a wise crack thinking he wouldn't venture to Northern KY. No inside info but I will call a win a win. I knew Dudley when he was in Central KY and remember him saying things like that. :dancingpa
  12. 1. Many Euro players succeed in the NBA bc of their different styles. This could be a good way for a player to add to his game. 2. Arizona may not get quite as much national exposure as some think next year (may not be very good) 3. Plenty of Euro teams want a high prospect American talent for 1 year 4. Maybe living over seas could help mature the player into the culture shock of the NBA 5. Your right it is un-American..... but any time Arizona loses a recruit that UK offered I won't complain
