Getslow
Trinity hit a number of threes in the first half that got them comfortably ahead. The one thing I noticed was the transition defense; it was impossible not to notice it for both the good and the bad. Trinity gave up several baskets by failing to get back on defense or by confusion over who was supposed to be running the traps on the press. It led to some easy layups on the other end for Male. But despite missing a few things here and there, Trinity was playing a solid press that generated a number of turnovers. Had to leave and missed most of the final quarter. Can't wait for Thursday. NKYThreeFer
Trinity reminds me of UK on the high school level. So many weapons that no one has to stand out as a dominant scorer. They can beat you so many different ways.

statman
That is a pretty strong statement comparing them to UK! I think what ThreeFer is saying is that Trinity is dominating HS basketball in much the same way that UK is dominating in College Basketball this year. I could be wrong on my assessment of the statement.

I could be wrong on my assessment of the statement. You're correct. Thank you. Obviously I wasn't comparing them to UK, that's why I said "on the high school level."
