Had to be 10 lead changes. NCC hit big shots in 2nd half. Siebert, Ryan and Miller all hit big shots. Towles had big game tonight, They couldn't stop him.

9th Region Tourney will be good.

I think someone suggested PT should be the focus

Towles did have a big game tonight, but when it mattered he missed the front end of a 1 and 1 with 8 seconds remaining. Aslo thought the offcials were horrible tonight. They need to keep 9th region officials for the district games and not use other regions officials.

Have a hard time believing that 9th region officials were not working the 36th district championship...??..

They were 9th region officials.

Jake Schulte playin' way better then the beginning of the season. Congrats on All-Tourney selection.

They were putrid tonight. Luke Turner got steamrolled by Brady Hightchew right in front of Grant Brannon and Bob (I should stick to refereeing 5th grade AAU) Burkart called a block. Turner's head hit the hardwood and Hightchew was out of control.

Let me emphasize the refs were bad both ways and were not the reason the Breds won. NCC deservedly won the game because They knocked down some bigtime shots. Congrats to the Breds.

I just thought There was about a 3 min span Where no fouls were being called at all. McDonald got pushed shooting a layup, Houliston fouled driving, Towles on a nice drop step fake, I could go on. If a guy is fouled shooting you have to call it. If its handchecking out front or a couple choppy screens I get it.

You know that being out of control and the defender's hit hitting the floor doesn't make it a PC, right?

He was set for sure. It was a miss.

Looked like a good call to me. Highchew went hard but defender was late and off balance and probably contributed to him hitting his head.

i would imagine that the view was different based on which side of the court you were on.

For HHS to be successful, Patrick needs to be the focus of their offense. He was big for Highlands tonight, single handitly kept Highlands in the game. Hard to get on the young man for missing a free throw towards the end. Without him, Highlands gets beat by 20+ tonight.

BIG GAME for NCC's Andy Miller. 3 for 4 from beyond the arc and ALL TOURNAMENT TEAM!! Some very well deserved recognition for the young man. He really stepped up in the biggest game of the year so far for the Breds both on the offensive and defensive side of the court.

Still hard to figure out how Drew McDonald goes from scoring 20+ points a the first 7 or 8 games in the season to taking one shot last night against the Birds. I know he was injured for a bit and teams make adjustments, but he's the Breds biggest inside offensive threat. I really think the Breds have to get him more involved in the offense as they head into the regional tournament.

I disagree. Definitely moved in under him. He did get steamrolled but I thought it was the right call.

Agreed!! Looked like a blocked to me. The defender was not close to being set in my opinion.

Just because it was a violent collision doesn't mean it was a player control foul. If you are going to try to take a charge, you need to be prepared to be hit. I thought it was a good aggressive drive up the sideline by Hightchew.

It was 1 of 150 judgement calls made (or not made) by the officials.
