Ninth Region has had a discussion about the top teams. Who will be the top teams in the 10th Region?

How about...

1. Montgomery Co.

2. George Rogers Clark

3. Bourbon Co.

4. Bishop Brossart

5. Bracken Co.

6. Harrison Co.

7. Nicholas Co.

8. St. Patrick

9. Campbell Co.

10. Mason Co.

Time will tell:ylsuper:

I hope your right memyselfandi but with my polar bears losing a player like Sticklen will not be easy to replace. We will have to depend on Conley to carry us on the mound. I will say this about Brossart there always a great team and its always a war when these 2 teams play and expect nothing different this year. As far as the rankings from BGH there right on and Brossart/Bracken could be reversed but we'll see.

Brossart and Bracken are VERY close...

I agree with you but I do not think Brossart has the pitching.

With the new Shackleford girl there, I think their pitching will be just fine. We played against her last year, she is a good addition to Brossart.

Not sure who Shackleford is but if she can fill the pitching position they should be right there with all the 10th region teams. I pretty sure that most of them are back. They were young last year with 3 or 4 freshman starting varsity. It should be some good games in the 10th again

Does anyone know if Campbell Co is going to go with the same pitcher as last year? With only 4 wins? More importantly, who is there catcher going to be, since they lost a senior

Would assume Carroll would pitch but that is up to the new coach. She may have a different view about the pitcher and catcher. I thought their senior catcher though is back Glahn maybe?

Lordy the rich keeping richer. Wish she was still with us.

I think Mason will be above Saint Patrick. Saint Patrick lost Crawford to graduation, Stanfield is now at Mason County and not playing sports and Katie Hamm is at Mason also.

Plus Mason has everyone back that beat Saint Patrick twice last year.

It was just a scrimmage but after today it may be Montgomery Co. 1, Bishop Brossart 2, Bourbon Co. 3 and Clark Co. 4th. The Bourbon Co. vs Montgomery Co. game on March 29 will be very interesting.

Sounds like a quality scrimmage and win for the Lady Stangs. A team self-ranked as 2nd in the region, however, should play a heftier schedule than the one I saw on KHSAA, including your own tournament just prior to All A action. What say ye BGH?

We play one of the toughest schedules in Northern Kentucky. You need to look at some of the other schools schedules. We play Bracken Co., Harlan, Harrison Co., Grant Co., Simon Kenton, St. Henry, Dixie Heights, Ryle, Conner, Notre Dame and although they don't start in our pool we have Grant Co., Bourbon Co., Conner and others we may play in our tourney. Carroll County beat Grant Co. last week. Small schools are locked into the All "A" Region in which we will play Bracken again and Nicholas Co. plus we have to leave 5-6 games open for the All "A" State in the event we make it. In addition we now have four District Games (Campbell Co., Calvary, Silver Grove, and Scott) which we have to play and Division II of the NKAC we now have 8 games we have to play (St. Henry, Holmes, Beechwood, Highlands, NCC, Newport, Holy Cross and Lloyd). We are a small school with 360 students yet we play one of the best schedules. Better do some more research.
