Bengal Maniac
Final from Hebron. Holmes jumed out to 25-9 1st quarter lead and coasted from there. Conner cut a 24 point lead in the 3rd quarter to 13, then the dogs put them away. Rice and Palmer had big games for the dogs.
Clyde
Bad matchup for Conner.
Bengal Maniac
The Bulldogs were quicker, better defenders, and out jumped them on the boards. The Cougars really had no answer. They couldn't get into their offense. Holmes got sloppy at the beginning of the third quarter against the press and Conner had a nice run. Booher had to call three timeouts to get them calmed down. As Clyde said this is not a favorable matchup for the Cougars. The game got chippy for a while. The Cougars were extremely agressive and hacking to get into the game. As I said, it settled down in the 4th when the 'dogs pulled away.
RomanEmpire
Holmes had to have had their best shooting night from 3. I believe they were 6/9 in the first half. If Holmes shoots like that, they will be a tough out for anybody in this region.

I think Palmer and Rice both had 2 each in the opening minutes. You can say any of the top 6, if they shoot well they will be a tough out. But really, when Holmes shoots well it sets up their press and they then get the easy baskets. When they don't they are very average.

Dontel Rice with 21 last night...anyone have a box for the rest?
buttels
On the Cougar side, we hope that Soph. Sam Hemmerich is ok. He went down hard on his left knee in the first quarter. I know Palmer had 20, I believe Engelmon has 11.
