I think Re-Set would be a good way to think about it. Re-Set all aspects and let Coach Collins see what he will have to work with. There are some experienced. Players coming back, but he will need to pull on some Sophs for positions. I am very excited about this upcoming season,

Congrats to Brandon Brewer for his new position at GRC. He was a great coach at Montgomery County and will be missed, i wish him nothing but success which he is sure to have.

Collins, Cards begin fresh start at Clark

 

The Steve Collins era is under way at George Rogers Clark High School.

 

The first-year Clark coach opened his first spring practice as coach of the Cardinals earlier this week, with three workouts. Clark had an intrasquad scrimmage Friday afternoon and has six more workouts planned before the team concludes the spring session in two weeks.

 

Collins has been pleased with the team’s numbers during the first three sessions, which have featured at least 75 participants. Collins added that “five to six” more are playing baseball and will compete in summer camps and fall workouts. The team’s current makeup features 32 incoming seniors and a large junior class.

Saw the team practicing yesterday. Good sized group this year. Lot's to be excited about with GRC football this year. Keeping fingers crossed that they will have a spring game this year.
