GOREDDEVILS Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Congrats to Bishop Brossart on the win.
AshlandTomcat41 Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 I heard this was a really ugly game, anyone with any info???
AshlandTomcat41 Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 He played and I think he fouled out, and maybe didnt even score in double figures.
GOREDDEVILS Posted December 27, 2005 Author Posted December 27, 2005 He played and I think he fouled out, and maybe didnt even score in double figures. Vanhoose played and led Russell with 12 points. He did foul out near the end of the game in the 4th quarter.
Nothingbutnet Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Not surprised by the outcome! BB is good! But the Devils did a good job to keep it as close as they did!
Mustang Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Vanhoose scored 12 before fouling out with 3 minutes to go in the game. Scott Gill puts up 11, and Austin Blair 8. Mustangs led by Brad Seiter with 17 - hit 13-16 from the line. Jimmy Uebel and Troy Cooper put up 11 each. Stangs led 10-5 after one and 25-18 at halftime, opened 40-29 after three and prevailed 59-45
NKYBOY1487 Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 How is Van Hoose doing so far? Was he hurt? Haven't seen his name much.
devil58 Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Devils looked out of sync the whole game...I was looking forward to seeing them after their showing at Bryan Station last week...Give Bishop Brossart credit. They played tough defense the whole game & it caused Russell to never be able to find their rhythm...Need to get some help offensively when Vanhoose is not going off...Brossart did a good job of keeping him in check...Devils still have a long way to go before they get to the level of play they were at the end of last season...The offense ran like a machine at tournament time & everyone was involved in it so keying on 1 player did not stop the team...They need to remember that & try to get back to that point...Haven't had a lot of practice with the complete team...I think they'll be just fine by the end of February...
