I also saw the GRC/Southwestern game. I would have to disagree with you that GRC controlled the game. Southwestern was up two with about three mins to go and shooting a one and one and missed. It was a one point game with about one minute to go. Southwestern turned the ball over a couple of times and GRC pulled the game out. I would agree with you that Southwesten's offense is not as far along as their defense. Also Fatkin is a very nice player, he had 12 points in that game, but got into foul trouble as did Edwards and Kapinga for Southwestern, I am not comparing those two sophomores to Fatkin, I am just stating i think they are also very important to their team. It should be a good game to watch and see which team is a little farther along at this point, but there is still alot of basketball to be played before the districts and region, if both teams get to the region.

That's true. Controlled is probably not the right word. I never felt that GRC would lose and they looked to be the better team at that time. Going into that game I expected Southwestern to win so take my predictions with a grain of salt. :D

I hope to catch the rematch if they are able to make it far enough.

I certainly think whoever comes out of the 12th region will represent the 12th region well, and I personally think there are gonna be some great, exciting games to watch. I would not crown the winner of the game friday night as the 12th region champs, of course East Jessamine has to be considered, but also Pulask Co's bench and some of Southwestern's young kids will both have time to improve and that could change either or both teams come March!

Absolutely.

Right now those three are the class of the 12th. As always I look forward to cheering on the 12th region representative in Rupp this March. We should be represented well.

I certainly agree with you on that, I will be pulling for the representative of the 12 region at Rupp Arena.

Southwestern, Pulaski Co. and East Jess. are the 3 best in Region. Will be a great 12 Regional Tourney.
