Very nice pics paNDa. Did you get any of the presentation they did before the varsity game for Kevin Klein and family? I heard it was pretty moving. What a class thing for CCH to do!:thumb:

No, I had no idea it was going to take place. They had me busy with the student section on a promotional picture of the students. I wish I had known it was about to happen. I did get the one shot of the CCH coach walking back to his bench. It was a classy thing and a touching thing for the school and coach to do.

I may be the only one, but as I was not at this game I have no idea what was done. Can you explain? Thanks!

Kevin Klein (St. X Head coach) six month old daughter had to have a liver transplant last week. His wife donated part of her liver to their daughter. Before the game started there was a prayer and tribute for them. CCH also presented the family with a donation. CLASS ACT CCH!

I sat and spoke with the coaches mother(Donna) and young son during the game. Very nice and gracious lady. I can only imagine how difficult it is to coach and take care of your family during this trying time. My best to all involved.

Wow and I agree about the class act. Thanks so much for sharing, and I hope and pray that everything continues to improve for the family!

I love to see schools/community get behind people in times like this. It shows the true character of a school/community to do something for their opponent. It has been and will be a long road for the Kleins. They are truly amazing people and can only wish them the best.

How does St. X have 1700 boys and not dominate in basketball??? I Guess its a football, golf, track and soccer school!

The enrollment numbers posted on this site for Trinity and X always amuses me. Where did this 1700 boys figure come from? Someone's imagination?

Part of the difference in football and basketball success I would have to guess has to do with the Louisville Catholic Schools Athletic Association. The CSAA has always had very good football, very comparable with the best optimist leagues in Jeff Co.. CSAA basketball has not had the same success for some reason.

09/10 report shows 1456 boys for X. Doesn't really change the debate.

I am pretty sure that is high. Numbers I heard reported were in the 1300 range. Maybe Oxnard can add something.

Regardless, I find it comical how these numbers keep inflating. I guess it is a matter of time before T or X is reported to have 2,000 boys.

The fact that they have 1300/1400 boys and are not a top 10 team mays say that the relationship between numbers and success is not a 100% direct relationship.
