Zeke Pike - Army All American

Featured Replies

I think there is always some concern for a recruit (especially a highly talented QB) when the offensive coordinator leaves at this stage of the process. The young man may begin to have some doubts. Am I still "the guy" or will the new offensive coordinator want "his guy"?

No question. When i first posted that Chizek visited I didnt know the OC was leaving.

I read the Bio on Zeke on the Army All-American web page. Here is what it says..

Biography: Pike is a pro-style quarterback with a lot of size and arm strength. He is a good runner for his size, having run for almost 1,000 yards as a junior, and can throw well on the move and buy time against the rush. He’s a hard worker who has the athleticism to play in the defensive front seven, as well as the ability to use his size to run over defenders in open space as a ball carrier.

Selection Committee Quote: “Pike has a big body and a big-time arm; he can make all the throws. He also has good bloodlines. His father, Mark Pike, is a former NFL DE-LB who played 173 games for Buffalo and was in four Super Bowls.” -- Keith Niebuhr, Rivals.com Southeast Recruiting Analyst
