Great game.

Game tying shot(that appears to look good on video) by Tommy Hastings is waved off.

Wow, tough way to end a game. Any stats?

Sounds like the ending score was about what I predicted. I knew this game would be close. Both teams looked very good.

Not yet. I work the clock for home games and things got a little intense after the game so I didn't get a stat sheet afterwards like I normally do. I'll do better next time.

What do you mean by intense?

East Jessamine 57

Boyle Co. 55

East Jessamine 16 11 13 17 57

Boyle Co. 15 10 18 12 55

East Jessamine (4-0) -- Boyd 13, Hairston 10, Rexroat 8, Carson 6, Collins 12, Bardshaw 8.

Boyle Co. (1-1) -- Satterly 11, Jones 9, Hastings 9, Rice 13, True 1, Arnett 12

The stats I do know is that Boyle was 10-18 from the line. Missed some bunnies and not many second chance points.

While not a rival there is still a little bad blood between Boyle and East over the hammer incident during football season last year and after the game each school's respective student sections had words from across the gym and then video was watched proclaiming the shot good and the words got louder between the student sections. Parents and various coaches coaxed the East Jessamine kids to go into the hallway and cooler heads prevailed without any violence popping off.

Any video of the final shot?

Any video of the final shot?

It should be on ihigh. I'll post it if I can get it. They filmed the game tonight and they confirmed it was good for us.

I watched it. Not close. Refs got it right.

On live here. Where is recorded version?

Alright, I watched it about 10 times. It's hard to tell but it's very very close. He may have beaten the buzzer by a split second.

For the record, chanting "let's play football" after a loss is a bad call, IMO.
