Lloyd was shooting lights out. I believe they shot 55% from 3. Also the style the game was played... so no concern here.

Walter - The FT difference was because Lloyd shot so many 3's. They primarily stayed out behind the arc and and rarely penetrated in the paint. HC had a nice mix of both inside and outside play, attacking the rim when they had the opportunity and getting fouled. The Campbell kid looks like he could be the piece HC has been missing in recent years. Although he likes to play on the perimeter and can shoot the 3, he gives them a presence down low that they really haven't had. He is a very talented player.

 

I think the stat of the game was Lloyd making 17 3-pointers but still lose by 15. You won't see that everyday.

 

HC travels to Boone County Tuesday night. Should be an interesting early season game.

Clyde, I agree. it's early but sets up to be an interesting matchup as HC looks to open 2-0 before they get Cooper in their home opener Friday night. Cooper has started off with a couple wins.
