The area where Oswald perched as he fired the shots is behind glass and set up exactly as it was on the day the shooting occurred.

November 22, 201114 yr I watched a very interesting documentary on it the other night on Discovery (I think.) The focus was on all of the video that you don't see concerning the event. Interestingly, (I found this out when my dad and I went to Arlington last spring - a first DC trip for both of us) my dad was scheduled to be in a special detail at Fort Hood that President Kennedy was supposed to inspect the next day, I believe. Dad's a pretty strong guy, but he teared up in Arlington on a couple of occasions. The first was at President Kennedy's grave.

November 22, 201114 yr I've been there in 1980, I stood on the knoll, I was out the school book place, there is a very nice museum that I spent hours in...I was 10 and it still bothers me and I watch what ever I can about it, just a very sad time for everyone. A policeman who was killed had two small kids. Tippet or Triplett.
