Before Friday night's game, Massey Ratings were predicting a very comfortable win for Butler over Henderson (but they also predicted a 1 point victory for Henderson over PRP.....). At this point, all previous predictions should be thrown out the door. Henderson is playing some tough, inspired football. They also have posted more impressive victories over all common opponents than Butler has: PRP (48-0 vs 35-7), Southern (49-0 vs 34-13), Muhlenberg Co. (68-11 vs 41-0), Meade Co. (34-18 vs 24-14). Henderson seems to be peaking at the right time, plus it's at home. The Colonels will prevail in a close one.

Thanks for the info. I have some friends in Henderson, so I will be pulling for them to win.

Don't know much about Butler but I believe Henderson has been underrated all year. If Henderson brings their A game I don't see them losing.

Henderson picked up steam when they got healthy. Louisville teams usually don't travel well heading west for 2+ hours. Ask PRP how that turned out.

I also want to add that there really won't be a winner in the HC/Butler game since the winner gets Trinity.

Haha, how true, woodsrider. There's no way to measure and compare teams from years past, but this year's Trinity team looks to be one of the finest to ever put on the pads in KHSAA history.

Henderson County Colonels

First Round: defeated Southern 49-0

Second Round: defeated Pleasure Ridge Park 48-0

All-Time Regional Final Record: 5-10

Butler Bears

First Round: defeated Muhlenberg County 41-0

Second Round: defeated Seneca 21-0

All-Time Regional Final Record: 4-3

Past Playoff Meetings

None

I only hope that Butler wins, in that, if we're fortunate enough to advance, we get to travel to Shively instead of Henderson.

I have a feeling HC wins by 2 TDs.
