November 7, 201114 yr Is that not a fumble? They keep saying incomplete...I'm thinking fumble and Boldin recovered it.
November 7, 201114 yr That's a weak weak call. I understand the rules but that is a weak weak call. I disagree. It was a helmet to helmet hit. You saw what just happened to Ward and he didn't get hit nearly as hard.
November 7, 201114 yr I disagree. It was a helmet to helmet hit. You saw what just happened to Ward and he didn't get hit nearly as hard. It wasn't with intent helmet to helmet. It just happened. That's what I hate about these new rules. Sometimes helmet to helmet happens. It is not always with malicious intent. Shoulder to helmet can cause the same concussion. Why not call that also?
November 7, 201114 yr No doubt. He could have had a Stevie Johnson-like meltdown after that drop had the Ravens lost. Great game and tremendous drive by Flacco. Regardless of whether I like the qb or not it is always cool to watch a qb engineer a two minute drill to get a td for the win at the end of the game.
November 7, 201114 yr My brother in law just called me and brought it to my attention that on Ray Rice's negated touchdown run the refs never marked off the holding call. It was 1st and 10 on the Ravens 24 yard line when Ray Rice took off on that negated 76 yard td run. They call it back and then it was 1st and 10 on the Ravens 24 yard line. Nobody caught it......:lol::lol: I rewound it back and saw it. Unbelievable. :ohbrother: Makeup spot? You do realize that a holding call does not always go back to where the line was. If the holding took place ten yards down field, then that is where the flag is thrown and walked off from. Which is what happened there.

If the holding took place ten yards down field, then that is where the flag is thrown and walked off from. Which is what happened there. It didn't take place 10 yards down the field. It happened within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage. It should have at least been 1st and 15 after marking it off 10 yards.

I was watching the same game, and I saw a hold on that play that did take place ten yards past the line of scrimmage on that play. So they did get it right.
November 7, 201114 yr I was watching the same game, and I saw a hold on that play that did take place ten yards past the line of scrimmage on that play. So they did get it right. I'll check the yardage when I see the highlight. I really don't think it was 10 yards off the line of scrimmage but we'll see.
November 7, 201114 yr Pretty crazy to think about this, but if the season ended today we'd be looking at the following playoff matchups: NFC Byes: 1) Green Bay Packers & 2) San Francisco 49ers 3) New York Giants vs. 6) Atlanta Falcons 4) New Orleans Saints vs. 5) Detroit Lions AFC Byes: 1) Cincinnati Bengals & 2) Houston Texans 3) New England Patriots vs. 6) Pittsburgh Steelers 4) Kansas City Chiefs vs. 5) Baltimore Ravens
