Owsley County 67 Wolfe County 63

Big win for Owsley at Wolfe County. The Owls led by as much as 17 points late in the 3rd quarter but Wolfe cut into the lead in the 4th quarter.

Daniel Neeley led Owsley with 34 points...including 8 treys.

Cody Gilbert scored 24 for Wolfe.

GOOD WIN OWLS!! How in the world did they hold Gilbert to 24 points?

Neeley is a DEADLY shooter. Man, gotta keep a body on him all the time.

Great win for the Owls, another tough loss for Wolfe.

Gilbert actually had 26 but anyways Owsley did a great team effort to hold him to that few, he also had an off shooting night which can happen to anyone, but overall he still played decent with around 15 boards and probabably 8 or so assists. If his teammates could fininsh he would've had 15. With Owsley concentrating on him, he did a good job of passing and hitting his guys right under the basket they just couldnt put the ball in the hole.

Also I have to say that if Daniel Neely is not the top one or two shooters in the region he is definetly top 3 or 4 he is an outstanding player and he played great tonight he is defiently underrated. BIG win for the Owls, always good to get that first one under the belt and they will be a team to watch in the future.

Good Job Owls

That win will get the Owls rolling. Nice win. :dancingpa

Way to go Owlsey. Good win coach Smith, hope many more come your way. Things can only get better when Robert Smith gets back.

Congrats to the Owls and Coach Smith. It is always tought to go to Campton and get a win. This was a win that will help Owsley build some confiedence going into the new year.

Owsley County finally got a game where three players scored in double figures: Daniel Neeley 34, Matt Wright 16, and Trey Congleton 11. That's what they need. Neeley's going to get his points (he's averaging 30.2), but he needs help from others. Last night he was able to find Wright several times for easy baskets. Wright didn't have a good game against Lee County, probably where it was his first game this season, but he did well last night. And Trey Congleton hit the boards hard and had several putbacks. He's been pretty consistent all year. That's what the Owls need....a little more balance.

Congrats to the OWLS :dancingpa

Trey Congleton is living up to his potential. He is a strong boy, look at those arms if you don't believe me. His shot is a little sloppy but he rebounds and puts the ball back up nicely.
