I fully expect Fort Campbell to win this week against a struggling Hopkinsville team. I just hope they can sub early and keep everyone healthy for the playoffs. Also, if Fort Campbell wins, this will be Coach Berner’s 100th victory.

Not sure exactly, but after Coach Clayton left they had a couple of good years under Jones when Curtis Pulley was there and have since been on a steady decline. Maybe the emergence of Christian County has had something to do with it or the coaching changes over the last decade?

Jones was not the head coach when Pulley played. He took over the following year and made it to the Regional Finials twice lossing both times to BG. Last time Hoptown was competitive was in 2008 when they won 7 games and lost by 6 points to Christian County in the 2nd Round who went on to the State Championship. Since the 2008 season they have won a grand total of 6 games.
