VoR...I love your optimism, but installing a brand new offense 3-4 days and competing against a top team may be asking too much. Let's hope some get healthy within a few weeks so the seniors get to play a little more before it's over.

 

No doubt a challenge about as big as it can get at this point in the season - new offense in its first game facing the undefeated, defending state champions. But I am optimistic about this team.

I will be shocked if the winning team scores less than 30. I will be surprised if Beechwood scores less than 30. I think it will take more than 31 for New Cath to win. I am having a hard time seeing New Cath score 30 on Beechwood.

I haven't seen Beechwood play. When was the last full game they played? CovCath? I think that that may make a bit of a difference in the late 3rd quarter/early 4th until the adrenaline kicks in during a close finish

Very good point mex and true, Beechwood's starters haven't played a full game in a while. That's why the last two weeks they have done an incredible amount of additional running and conditioning as part of practice. Still, it isn't under game situations but hopefully all the extra conditioning will help out with that.

I was just asking. NewCath hasn't played many full games this year either, so I'm not sure that playing one last week is that huge of an advantage. Maybe it is.
