I wish the nut jobs would have tried to help tranquilize them. Stand close to a lion or tiger hats scared and shoot it with a dart. At least a 90% chance you're mauled after that

October 19, 201114 yr According to what I read earlier, the search had to begin too quickly for the police to get tranquelizer guns. Jack Hannah also said that tranquelizers would have been no good at the time of day they'd have been used. If shot, the animal would have hidden, and eventually the tranquelizer would have worn off and an even more confused and terrified animal would still have been at large. It definitely devestates me that they had to be killed, though I do understand it.

It is sad they had to die but we are talking about people's lives at stake here. Because some animal people are so lost that they don't value human like. It's sick. One of the worst human stories I've ever read about is unfolding in Philly and I've not seen it mentioned on bgp, Facebook or twitter. This animal story was blowing up on there for me today.
