Trinity-Louisville 2011/2012

Basketball season for 2011/2012 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Trinity-Louisville? Remember, please be constructive.

Probably the best team in the history of the school.

^ They have talent, that's for sure. I look for them to go far.

Only time I've ever seen them play was against Mason County in the 2004 state quarters - the triple-overtime game.

I always wondered why they didn't foul Lofton in the closing seconds before he had the chance to get off a game-tying three. I always meant to ask one of the Saxton twins about that when they were at Georgetown College, but daughter wouldn't let me...

I have watched them play for the last several years. Also watched some of their players in AAU this summer. They are the #1 pre-season pick in the state, IMO.

As far as team is concerned, their 2005 team was probably the best "team" they have ever had. They fell short to a very talented Ballard squad in semi-finals of the regionals. This year they definitely have a shot to surpass the 2005 squad because of their guard play and length.

Many people have wondered why Chris wasn't fouled.

2010 team was up there. Great regular season winning all three tourneys and going 24 straight undefeated only to be upset in regional.

If you look at the talent you had a mid D1, two D3 players who both were major contributors as freshman and two sophomores who have both committed to D1 schools.

That compares to a low D1 player and two NAIA on 2005 team and I'm not sure who else played in college.

As far as this season, they look great on paper and have a shot to get to Rupp, although Ballard will not be an easy out.

Agree, loved watching that team play. Agree that Ballard won't be a easy out. We played them last year, very good team but even better this year.

Just read that Trinity is ranked #50 in ESPN Top 50.

Anybody have their roster?
