Thank you for the update and report. I knew they had played but couldn't believe that no one posted about it. Hope the kids were not seriously injured.

Let's see what the BAby Rocks do

Actually is was a close game util the 4th. Male had a mishandle handoff inside the Rocks 5 that would have tied the game at the half. The second QB got hurt, sorry to see that, and they put in a running back at QB who went about 80 yards on a QB sneak. Both teams had several turnovers that hurt them. All the Rocks TDs came on long plays, and they count.

The fans were kinda upset on the Male side as the Rocks were up by the final margin and they were still using first teamers. And there was a questionable call against the Rocks and the crowd went nuts, the game was way over and we thought why are you screaming at the refs? The way the stadium is built you can really hear a lot of things from the other side. Any Rock fans notice this. With no track you are real close to the kids, and the other fans.

I'm just reporting what I heard and saw. It seemed like more kids would have got to play, and thats for both teams, the game is over with 6/7 minutes to go, let other kids play.

Good luck to the Rocks on thursday/friday.

Any injury updates regarding the Rock QB'S, and will either be able to go on Friday?

Interesting situation where the Rocks at the JV level still had the starters in late with a big lead. The only thing I can think of for this to occur would be the coaches looking for something. I recall something similar happening in a varsity game back in 2000, the coach wanted to let the O-line play together for a couple more series becuae of inconsistent play in the previous game and earlier in that game. Hopefully something like that is the case.

I have now heard that Trinity's frosh beat Male's 21-7 last night. Don't have any details, just the score.

To paraphrase, what are we supposed to do when the game is out of hand quit supporting the team? A bad call is a bad call regardless of when it happens.

I understand how some calls might get tweaked when the game is out of hand, but turning a blind eye is a discredit to the officiating profession. Keep officiating - let the running clock do its job (which I think will happen in this one tonight.)

For anyone interested , the Moeller vs Indy Cathedral game is going to be on Ihigh at 7:30 . Thought you might like to see mighty Moe in action , with Trinity playing Moe in the near future. Go Rocks !!!
