I do agree that there is more parody in 2A this year than many anticipated, but I don't see anyone beating the Breds, even with what they lost from last season's team. I still believe that the Breds are on a different level than the rest of the state.

A few teams have a chance to beat NCC. Small chance, and HC is one of them. I may be wrong because I have not seen any southern teams play, but 2A up north seems a lot different than 2A south. We can say what we want but the only true way to find out is on the field. The play offs dont answer enough guestion on that topic for me. Game comparison is all we have, and we only get that in the playoffs. And NCC made all look bad last year. Their best compatition was HC last year and that was not all that close. NCC wins state, unless HC beats them.

They have played 6 teams with a combined 12-24 record. Only 2 of the 6 have a .500 record and the other 4 have losing records. It's not hard to look good against inferior competition. One of there so called premiere wins was against Arch. McNicholas, who has a total of 1 win all year. Also, Beechwood handled DH and SK easier than NCC did. Like I said, I think they're the team to beat, but, I don't think they are far and away the best 2a team out there, like some have claimed them to be.

I promise I'm not answering for John, if he sees this, I assume that he will. This should be a great game as it usually has been between their talent, the development of a rivalry, etc., but based on what I have seen and heard of both, I would take Beechwood.

The only way I ment them to matter was in the case that we, nky schools, only play southern schools in the play offs so that is all we can do is compare games.

I have not seen Mayfield play so I can not answer to that. I have seen BW, if you stop the run you win. I dont see it happening but that may be answered for you.

My point was HC, until they beat NCC, will not get to play any of the other top 10 teams. So how can you really compare them other than the vs theory.

Really all the state other than nky. We dont play them except in play offs. Which is the same that everyone gets. The difference is probably the fact that I have been paying attention to high school football for 2 years. Due to my sons envolvement. I will add that I am enjoying it. What I get to judge these teams by is everyone on heres perspective. Unless we play against that given team. I hear how good teams are then they play a team I know about and flop. So they must play a different game in the south, lol. Joke.

I know you can say that was last year so what. But that is what I have seen and until it changes it is what I know. Is nky football better? You tell me, and I dont want to hear about Trinity.
