Male has played everyone close this season, but has not been able to make the critical play for victory. The Bulldogs were due for a breakout game. Eastern almost always has great talent, but always loses focus and chokes when given the opportunity for a great season.

I am glad Male got this win because now they are looking at a three game skid as they lose all three district games to Manual, St X and Trinity.

I actually attended this game...some very questionable coaching calls on the Eastern side. In particular, down just 1 TD in the first half they call a fake punt on 4th and 4 and give Male a short field and another score starts the rout.

58, yep, I asked Mama when it happened, "I don't know about that call". To be fair Eastern has several kids that were out due to injuries. Male's run defense was very good. Over all a very well played game. Kids have been working hard.
