Good defensive effort tonight. District play begins next week.

Good win for the Rebels...:thumb:How did the offense look?

Whittle had time to make some good throws tonight. I remember two dropped passes tonight. Running backs looked good. We were clearly the better team.

What is the kickoff touchback rule? The kid had one foot in the end zone when he caught the kickoff that he ran back for a touchdown.

It appears to be when the ball breaks the plain of the goal line. Our kicker puts a lot of his kicks right at the goal line and the returner will have often have one foot in the end zone. About half the time its a touchback, the other half its not. It seems a judgment call by the official as to where the ball stopped going forward.

Cool. Thanks. The ball didn't break the plane of the goal line in this instance. It was just his foot in the end zone.
