I , know this has been an issue on her before, but Schwartz, and Thompson switching roles has been the key. Thompson seems to be a hard nosed runner with good hands. I can't help but wonder how good Scwhartz would have been if he would have been the QB the last two years. Several other Rebel players stepping up as well, I think and hope they will be the top of NKY 6A.

Well, what weaknesses did you see from CCH when they played Boone County?

As a response to the article--like it but Oberhausen's first name is Austin.

It was a close game, fairly entertaining, but it spells trouble for both teams. Both teams are solid/decent but neither one of them are anything special. Highlands names their score against CCH and Boone will be in a bunch of district games that can go either way.

What kind of trouble does it spell? let the season play out and we will see how this game really matters. CCH is not a finished product and we can expect more improvement before the end of the year. Boone County played a very good game last night. Highlands will be a tuff match up for any team in the state exept Trinity. CCH needs to see how they match up in two weeks and keep improving and hopely they will see them again in playoffs. Way to early to be declaring trouble for both teams. I think both teams are positioned to have a very good season. If CCH wins by 4 TD it still would not matter to you because the next statement would be they have not beat a quality opponent. Where you at the game last night and how many times have you seen CCH play this year.

You can go and enjoy watching 50-0 games where teams can name their scores. I'll enjoy watching this Rebel team play a bunch of games that can go either way. This Rebel team can be something special and if you don't believe that ask any of the boys on the team. If they can reduce the number of turnovers (9 in 4 games, I believe), they can go far. Maybe I am too easily pleased, but a district championship is something special, a playoff win is special & anyone who doesn't think so is taking something that does not belong to them for granted.

The way the Boone defense has played to start this season, in my eyes this game makes Boone the favorite in 6A. I am also impressed with what Boone's new offense has done. You have to feel great for that kid to go through all the negative the last couple years and come out to have the season he is having so far. Good for him! This game tells me Boone is going to win N. Trouble in what way? They cant beat Highlands and win State. Lets keep things in perspective and enjoy the season. Nobody expects them to beat Highlands but that doesnt matter. You have to play the game and see.

I do agree that Boone's defense of CCH's passing attack is a positive. I also think a district championship is possible for the Rebs but at the same time it appears to be a down year overall for NKY 6A.

I know it is tough for some people to be objective about their team. Of course Highlands would be a tough matchup for anyone outside of Trinity but the vas majority of those teams are not in Highlands' district like the Colonels.

 

Look, CCH has a nice team, but they have no chance against Highlands this year.
