Currently there are 51 players on the CovCath Freshmen roster and while I don't have the 2010 nor 2009 roster in front of me, I believe both teams had more than 51 players on them but not by much.

I did some checking. CCH starts about 20 different kids and about 30 play. IF they were going "best only" about 15 would play. They get it.

In a game played in constant rain be it a shower or mist, the CovCath "Seniors in Training" defeated the Conner Cougars Freshmen team by a score of 39-0 at Covington Catholic on Wednesday evening.

 

The young Colonels were led by #10 Jack Schrage, # 51 Braxton Foote and #65 Christopher Holthaus.

 

Good efforts were given by CovCath # 2 Nico Pangallo, #22 Jared Clark and #71 Sam Ritter.

 

#29 Ryan Romey, #15 Michael Portal and #51 Nick Paskal impressed me for the Cougars
